Aoa Brother your calculation is right, ginger crop cultivate on trial basis and it's profit will produce in 2nd year when seed,sheet cost will not count moreover ginger crop sown first time in central punjab so its not cofirmed that how much weight produces. Ginger rates fluctuate from 80000 Mund to 16000 Mund hole year. It's still in trial may be sucessful, Allah Hafiz

I think some error in estimation yield ? If there are 28000 plants / acre and an average 250grams ginger produce by a plant.. the minimum yield must be 7000 kg. Please elaborate if I am wrong.

in my field plants not 28000 lot of plants were dead at 48 c temperature more over tunnel structure was fell down due to thunder storm and damage the crop

@@asrarnabi2744 All your points noted, thank you. I am a novice agrarian from Rahimyar Khan and really like such of new information as yours. My question : can we do a trail of ginger in dense mango orchards instead tunnel. Our temperature rise UpTo 50⁰c and even it will be difficult to control temp in tunnel. Or a small tunnel trail in a dense mango orchard.

@zubbairs yes on small area Hope it will produce rizomes in may June spray water on it to reduce temperature and maintain humidity
