Im sure you read these online and trying to explain here in a easy manner , but you totally misunderstood the 4th point , when they say avoid short distance travel they mean short travel with a distance of less than 2km , since your engine needs to get to optimum temperature to run efficiently which wont happen during these short start stop travel. This doesnt mean you can take it for long distance travel , since during long drives you would end up staying at a particular speed and rpm for longer periods of time which is supposed to be bad for engine setting in.
