One advice to all people who says brand promotion, muttu kudukuranga, waste of time. He is not your friend, he is running a youtube automotive channel which reviews all brands and talks pros and cons of all vehicles in the market so that we get more knowledge about it. That's why I come to this channel and see this video, I want to know how MG is doing, the technology that they have provided in this EV compared to other vehicles and expand my knowledge. We must ultimately do our own research about vehicles before purchasing for our own needs without blindly trusting brand, influencers and market trends.

@@thesavior6291practically it takes 5 hours for full charging in the charging outlet. The time given by company was 7h from 0 - 100. But I had never allowed it to go to zero. Moreover it doesn't show the range below 5%. If you are charging in your home with a 15 A plug point, then it is said to take 11 h. But I have no such provision to do in my apartment. The battery is not getting drained by standing for 3 or 4 days as of now. I am using for about 3.5 months as of now. Moreover newer variants are now introduced. They are said to charge by 3.5 h instead 7 h. I my observation, as far as the provided data's by MG, are trustable from my experience. They perform more than they commit, atleast in the initial stages. Later, I don't know. Required time testing. MG has shown due delegence in collecting and providing data, as I have got more than they have committed in many of the things. This is my opinion as a customer.

Thanks for the review, I really agree both the opinions which are honest. I my self booked the car for the same reasons mentioned ( which was very tough decision though), Single office commute and my wife is driving first time and have 2 Kids. It fits only few buyers within the use case mentioned. Thanks for this review Birla. Overall the sales data is impressive and i feel this car will stay and compete with new small EV cars in the coming years. BTW this is built on GSEV ( GM-Wuling) platform which already have 10M cars on road.

I test drive this for my wife, this is not worth for 10 Laks. My wife liked this since it is a very small bonet car. Apart from that nothing is positive. I feel lot of roll when turning the car, may be due to the height width ratio. For 6.6 laks I choose to go S Presso mid varient with Automatic transmission. Just my opinion.

I have driven this car , solely and with family, this car is ideal for individual drive, if you try to accommodate even one passenger he or she will be forced to get down within few minutes after moving the car, this is because of poor seating dynamics both front and rear.

In China ...range extender (Petrol genset) is used in ev to go beyond 300-400km but it occupies space like LPG tank.....it resolves a major issue of low range ev ... Also with it, a same Ev used for itracity (battery operated) and intercity (range extender used)

if you compare it with REVA E2O ( can buy as 2nd hand for about 3L), this car is not offering anything great, other than 180KM/Charge range. The rest of all are much less than that of E2O. (if you spend 4L, you can consider E2O+ which is far better than this)
