What did you think of the Fan fret (multi scale) instruments, I’ve been thinking about looking at one at some stage. At the moment I play mainly guitar but also Ukulele bass, I quite like the idea of a short scale bass as I am quite small, it’s all about options at the moment, and forward planning for cash! I live near Brum so might plan on going next time, looks like a great place for window shopping 😂 Take care, and much belated happy birthday 💖💕💖

Oh I am SOOOOOOO jealous. You got to hold and play Ben Crowes river guitar. That has to be one of the most gorgeous instruments I have seen to date. Speaking of.. you should tag into his great guitar build off and come build something with the rest of us. I am currently working on an explorer style build. You should make a basic P bass for yourself with a simple kit build to try it out. Its really fun when you get to play something you built. It makes it that much more special. Looks like the show went well and you had some real fun being in the mix of it all meeting cool and important people.

Wow that Entwistle bass stole the show IMO. That sucka was rude, crude, loud, proud, and actually quite refined and tonally diverse, with a strong hint of pizza sauce, and possibly tequila with a prozac twist🤣😅😂 What this drivel was intended to say is, CiCi you oughtta get one of those. It fits your style _perfectly,_ looks amazing in your hands, and trust me here, that badd boiiee was producing a warm yet defined thunder that cut right through the noise saturation in that room. I'm primarily a guitarist but since I do solo recordings and play all the instruments, I'm looking to grab a new bass. Was thinking 5 string, but that Entwistle bass was speaking to me loud n clear. So thank you because that is probly gonna be my choice.

Happy Birthday, Cici. I'd love to go to that show - looked great. I got my bass yesterday; a Harley Benton MB4 in sunburst/maple neck & fretboard. For the ridiculously low price Thomann/HB charge, it is an absolute bargain gem and I love it. A lot heavier than my electrics but I quite like that - built like a tank. Practice practice practice now but it is so different to playing 6-string guitar! Thanks for the inspiration to go for bass! :-0)
