How about a sort of gauntlet mode? Say they get 1v1s vs each rank, but don't get to heal between ranks. See how far they can make it. I guess that would mean you'd need everyone in the lobby at the same time though, which might suck for scheduling. Evo level ups would be some free armor. Could maybe let them use a medkit between rounds if you were generous. But then it'd basically be a no armor challenge.

Think about the dying community and sharp learning curve, their aren't many bronze and silvers that are actually stuck at that rank much less still play, most bad players can atleast hit gold, the movement gap is usually what gets em passed to plat or diamond or leaves em needing a carry teammate
