I think it's the idea of knowing you're better that overclouds the judgement to work with the team. I've seen it countless times, and I've also been that player sometimes when I get super frustrated with passive players. But I've found much more success in RP gain when I just play off of my teammates (even if it means being bored to death lol). Also, I miss shots a lot of the time, I can't play doors very well (or knockdown shields) and I often forget to reload my gun haha But at least I know I try my best to be a good teammate. If I can have a good game and win with my full squad alive and we all have kills/assists I will be happy. I view ranked as a way to help one another meet a similar goal, which is to earn RP.

The thing is: if I can't even make it to Masters on my own, how can I expect to even pass half of the challenger circuit? Movement and Aim are good. Judging from the perspective of a diamond player i think he definitley has the mechanical skill to hit pred. But after reaching diamond those mechanical tools loose much of its value imo. In Diamond and more so in Masters i think it comes down to positioning, how to take fights and which to take and mostly how you comm. Honestly.. you dont need to be good to reach diamond. i think i hit my first with a 0.9 kd

Hitting diamond is not that hard. I'm plat 2 and i have a 0.75kd. I suck ass at aiming, my movement is low platish, but what is getting me through plat is my decision making. I'm trying to improve my aim but it is not easy, i feel like my reflexes are not as good as it once were and i'm a lefty so i do not have as good hand coordination as right handed people. Long story short, i suck but i'm going to hit diamond, once i'm there i'll see!

But however once you hit diamond what separates the hard stuck with the masters and preds is gamesense. You can have all the mechanical skill in the world but if you are incapable of playing off your team or with your team and have the gamesense of a gold player or pub stomper you’ll never hit anything higher than diamond. So he can definitely hit masters maybe pred if he starts playing alongside his teammates and gains more gamesense but if not well good luck to him

I dont use scripts and dont use any movement techniques. Look at your gameplay and tell he mow many times you utilize super long jumps, straifing and other. I don't think he is. The reason I say that is no pred players play like this. Relying on movement doesn't get you passed diamond because peoples aim outplays your movement. Similarly you can't wall bounce into a pk shot on me when your 60m out and I'm holding you on a head glitch with a flatline. People like this guy think that because they can dunk on players super hard in streamer building that they should be a high rank but that style of play stops working fairly quickly in ranked tbh. One of my favourite apex clips is lemonhead doing some crazy octane movement in imperialhals face and hal literally just stands still beams him in his neo strafe looks at the box and goes lemonhead you fuckin idiot. You can hear the soundbyte at the end of one of lemonheads vids it's great.

Im Diamond and I definitely deserve master but never got to it because I don’t have a pre made squad and I only have ash and Maggie in my team that steal my loot and push every team solo and give them the loot they just stole me I have good movement good aim and I know how to to play in different situations but it’s useless if my teammates think they’re aceu and push everyone they see and die without making damage. Movement and stuff is one thing, but the actual calls and what to do during hard situations is what determines what rank a player is. A dia player that thinks he’s better already tells why he’s stuck there.

Not crazy about the aim a lot of PC players get too excited with the movement and don’t practice their aim. you can tell that’s the case with this guy if he consistently has aim warmups in firing range and gets his aim better he can easily solo que to masters. He has the aim of a hardstuck P4 but the movement of a pred who focuses movement

It is quite do able, just a lot of grinding. These 1v1 prove nothing because in higher rank you are mostly gonna deal with long range fights. Thou I gotta say that octane diamond player look kinda bad ngl. Might be just a bad day idk

Hitting diamond seems to be really not that hard. I'm pretty shit at the game like most of the time I'm doing 400 damage a game while missing half my shots and rarely hit over 1k and I'm already mid gold playing with one friend that is even worse and another that is better than me but not able to carry anything on his own.

As an apex pred, his movement is pretty mid in my opinion that pred wasn't as good as we normally are he needs to work on decision makeing and AIM a lot.

Holy shit, I saw BulletL in the last clip. I used to play a lot with him in the PUBG OCE circuit. Also, I think a lot of the movement BOF does is insane, but I have a hard time respecting the use of config edits to get perfect super glides every time, since they're not ALGS legal... but that's just a personal bias.

I believe you-- I've been encountering some movement gods in diamond-pred lobbies recently and got to talk with some of them. It wasn't necessarily a 'BOF uses configs so I don't respect him', but more of a 'BOF's movement is insane. I just wish there weren't config's around to make everyone insane without any work.'

In my personal experience/opinion, there are some cracked players in gold (I'm on console btw) and I even wonder how, or WHY they still there! Lol I'm guessing most players just don't have the time to play (or maybe they just play from time-to-time) and so they aren't earning as much rp as the players that can commit more time. Also I think taking a 1v1 isn't the problem, but facing a full three stack while soloing. When playing with randoms, it's kind of in the air as to what they will (or won't) do, and so working with this can be kind of difficult, which could lead to him not being able to properly earn the RP he feels he deserves. And not just full three stacks, but take into account that sometimes while fighting, some teams are just watching and waiting to third party, so this is another factor. The chances of getting a 1v1 is actually kinda low while playing ranked (unless you run across a rat) as most players will have that one teammate that will literally come out of nowhere haha But good content regardless :) Very fun to watch I also like how Livin just straight up told him he couldn't aim haha His movement is like Faide, but was missing shots. This can be the difference between life and death while playing ranked (case in point, what happened to him in the end). Literally the two players literally kicking the door and shooting at the same time is something that I would commonly experience in ranked, and while they're kicking the door down, and my teammates are knocked, the third will come through the opposite door and kill me. Now THAT is the true apex experience. A 1v1 is like a blessing in this game haha
