Hello! Sir. In this session I have noticed that you told the water pressure should not exceed 40 psi but I read in book that the water pressure should not exceed 50 psi. 2011a Addenda July 1,2011. Kindly Check it

Yes. The I'm pretty sure you must be at least 12 inches from the part to nozzle.

By applying the penetrant with brush, how do you make sure that the applied particles concentration is at it should be and the particles vs liquid mixture is uniformly applied ?

Penetrant is a liquid. There are no particles

No, this ia not correct. There are color pigments in it. While applying penetrant, the mixture of pigments and the carrier liquid must be homogen for maximum.test efficiency. That's why we shake the cans before spraying. But while.applying with brush, how can you assure that pigments and liquid are homogenously applied ? Apparently not.

In welding zones, depending on asme(or the applicable code) recommendations, you have to remove that material and weld again
