Nice job highlighting the issues with regulations in Singapore. It's a sad condition. We are very fortunate in the USA but a few bad and reckless scooter riders could ruin it for us as well. Please ride responsible.
@sushilolpee78945 жыл бұрын
The main reason the ban escalated is because most of us went onto roads as we riders think its more safer to be on the roads. And also of the number of increasing accidents between pedestrian and PMD (Personal Mobility Device) riders. Between these two problems, the pedestrians on the sidewalks think us riders are problematic and dangerous. So we sort to the road. But the drivers on the road also think we are problematic and dangerous. Well we cant really do anything. Just got to pray that the government realises its better for us to be on the road.

This is the scooter I've been looking at. The weigh, power, and range are very inviting. However, the Falcon X10 makes it a tough decision!
@AlienRides5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, that’s a hard call for sure, both are great scooters. The weight and size of this one probably make for a better commuter, while the 10X might be a scooter you can have more fun on. Maybe figure out what weight and size is important to you.

Alien Rides hi. What makes the 10x more fun? I’m torn between these 2 models. I’m looking for acceleration and fun. Range is not important at all
@AlienRides5 жыл бұрын
Raymond Sutanto is weight or size important to you at all? If you have some leeway there, the 10X might be a more “fun” scooter due to the larger deck, handlebars, and bouncy suspension.
@Icevater5 жыл бұрын
@@AlienRides Alien Rides weight is not important as I will not be carrying it around. Its not a mode of transport for me. Just want to have some fun around the neighbourhood. Unless a lighter scooter is more fun? I'm looking for thrills. I see in another vid the speedway 5 blows out the x10 in acceleration. Could you advice in terms of thrills n Fun which of these is best: zero 10x, speedway 5, inokim ox, dualtron Spider. Cheers
@AlienRides5 жыл бұрын
@@Icevater I also look for fun and thrill in a ride, and for me I enjoy the heavier scooters for more power and a larger battery pack. IMO the Speedway V and the Zero 10X fit that bill. I think the Speedway V is going to win on pure acceleration, but the 10X is also a lot of fun due to the unique suspension, and being able to have fun while jumping off of things. For me, they're both about even, but if raw speed is what you're after, then the Speedway V wins.

Stem lighting is good for being seen, so the lighting on the sides is for what? Fixes needed: move the logo stem lighting to the front; add a stem folded locking mechanism that doesn’t interfere with the deck; deck lighting for visibility; add folding handlebars; add wide ergonomically comfortable grips; a deck lighting would be nice;

I'm 84kg and my route usually is just around 4km from home to office but from the office going back I tackle a 15-25° incline. Would the Spider be a great option for me? I'm looking for its weight being 20kg since from the road I have to go up and down a flight of stairs. My current scoot is a go-board titan 8d, weighs around 26kg on paper and the solid tires though great coz no flats make me less confident to ride sometimes coz of traction. Hope you can help me decide if this would be a good upgrade.

For sure, I think the spider would be a great option for you. It's really the only dual motor scooter I'd like to carry up and down stairs. You will have more flats, but it's worth it. If you can manage the extra weight a Dualtron Eagle pro might be nice also, easier to change flats.

Lacking a locking stem and nonfolding handlebars together killed what should have a great performance portable commuter. I realize it’s made for weight restriction laws, but that’s not the case in many locations. My only weight consideration is carrying a scooter two flights. This scooter should’ve been a no brainer until you realize how “uncarryable” it is without locking in a folded position. Writing to dualtron in hopes for a “next version” spider resulted in them giving me a defensive response rather than they’ll consider solutions. As for portability they suggest i pay an extra $250 for a handle kickplate on top of the $2500 scooter price tag.

Papp Sebastian Georgian I would say that that it’s hard to compare directly since they are such different machines. For racing and long distance cruising the Thunder is a 9, while the spider is probably a 5-6 for me. But for bringing a scooter into a store or commuting with it, the Spider will win.

I got an idea for the next video you can do. None has ever been done. What's the best type of Footwear to use while riding an e scooter. I'm torn between my new balance running shoes which have excellent traction, very flexible and no sharp edges. And my DC skateboard shoes which have excellent traction a wider footprint butt when you're not on the scooter little rocks tend to get in-between the sole design which could do damage to your grip tape if not taken out. And we all know how crappy skateboard shoes feel when walking. My new balance are way more comfortable and breathable but give me a smaller footprint on the deck.

Interesting, I still don’t know what the best is so I would watch that video as well 😂 So far I actually enjoy riding in what are essentially work boots. Good waterproofing, feels protective, and has enough flexibility for a comfortable ride. Going to try some off-roading in them today on a scooter.

How tall are you? That stem seems awful short. Also I've heard of people having problems with the tires not being balanced. Could be just a bad batch of tires. The ultra is running great. Got everything maxed out now. I redid the grip tape in Black but kept the center strip because of the logo. It's much better now with 8 1/2 of grip tape across it. Instead of using paint or regular pinstripe I bought a roll of reflective red tape. On the top of the deck I put a strip on each side. On the side I put a strip on each side. I put a strip down the center of the rear fender. On the front fender I put two pieces that look like fangs. On flat services like the deck it was easy but on the fenders it was a pain in the ass to get it to lay right . For $30 in material( including grip tape) it looks badass. In the day time is bright red but at night when light hits it it'll change to bright White. I wish I could send you some pictures of it.👍
