I'm curious about the original version by Bernie himself. I got loads of recordings but not this one... Your version on the tribute cd is awesome btw, bit like Suicide and other new wave... your companion still doing music?

Thanks Udo! Yeah that’s the kinda thing we were going for with Turbo…kind of a quirky fuzzy sound that nobody else was doing either in the folk scene or the rock scene. I’m glad you like it! Andrew and I did lots of stuff together while he was in town, but I honestly don’t know where or what he is doing right now. I sure hope he’s doing something as he’s a very creative and original guy. I loved playing with him. The original song was on a cassette tape that Brian gave me. I do it as close to the original as I can. Brian taught me the chords etc. It’s a cool song with a strange vibe to it. But this tune was my introduction to Bernie’s music.

@ZiBiTmusic funny you say! I found my old tape of the one and only Turbo demos…as in I have only one copy, but maybe I’ll do a cassette listening video for it😀
