Recap is good. But movie story is totally fake. Where is no way Catholics would do what. Even if some power-hungry priests would do such thing they would be banned from church because they're gone mental. In original movie, Damien was born with demonic powers because his parents practiced magic from "Satanic Bible".

Someone hasn't been reading history books...... The church not only sanctioned chattel slavery but facilitated it. Not too long ago the world was horrified regarding the lengths the church went through to hide sexual abuse of children and/or nuns by priests. Those are just 2 examples. A gentleman in a program I attended (who was born in Italy and still has family there though he was raised in the US) wondered aloud why the church never said anything about the Mafia/organized crime? Lots of movies are fake but please don't put anything past us mere humans because yeah, HISTORY. Peace.
