This was the first episode I watched raiding from JoCat's Belkinus Necrohunt stream. Now that I've binged all the episodes up to this point things hit different but what doesn't it how fucking loveable these clowns are. Zeke and Mr. Pop had me dying on more than one occasion. RIP Stanley, may the afterlife host a better birthday for you.

Welcome to Pi's Nit-Picks where for personal reasons I go through new episodes of The Unexpectables and nit-pick it of any instance where how they play and RAW don't line up in a cinemasins-esque manner. Spoiler alert: because of how this works, I might have to go into spoiler territory but I'll try to be subtle about it. Disclaimer: I am not telling anyone how to play dungeons & dragons. It's their game, not mine. These are not criticisms, these are nit-picks. I’m not trying to antagonize anyone, I’m a fan just like you. Nit-Picks: 1:16:40 : The moment Zeke would delve deeper into the target’s thoughts, he would be instantly aware Zeke was doing so. 1:17:08 : Monty rules this saving throw as she does ability checks that are in a tied contest, by using her rule of thumb “aggressor wins”, but when it comes to saving throws, similar to most ability checks, if your roll equals the DC, it succeeds. 1:28:14 : The most appropriate skill to use in order to discern if someone is disguised would be investigation, as per the spell’s description. 2:07:00 : Despite whether if the attack hits or not, Mr. Pop would still have to roll whether it hits one of his duplicates, as they have a lower AC than him and could still be destroyed. 2:08:10 : Zeke cannot target Stanly, as he is more than 10 feet away from him. 2:12:40 : Rat cannot target either the archer or the sorcerer, as they are further than 30 feet away from him. 2:50:40 : When you use a bonus action to cast a spell, you can't have cast another spell during the same turn, except for a cantrip with a casting time of 1 action. 3:05:10 : Because the herald was cursed by Hexblade’s Curse when he died, Kane would’ve regained hit points equal to his Charisma modifier + warlock level. 3:15:48 : The specter has a bonus to its attack rolls equal to Kane’s Charisma modifier. 3:38:00 : Casting conjure elementals using Minions of Chaos still requires spending a warlock spell slot. 3:57:35 : The paladin would’ve had an opportunity to reroll his Constitution saving throw against the paralysis at the end of his turn. Also, RIP Stanly, his tragic death will not be forgotten.

Blindness deafness is not a concentration spell, so con saves are unnecessary

How I see most rolling checks in reference to your "If it meets it it beats it" on the saving throw: Even if not stated as official; it always seems like the aggressor would win. So in the event of a tie where you are the defender making a save, the aggressor forcing the save would win. That just....seems logical as every other kind of roll is you being the aggressor against their set DC or such. It just seems weird that the rule would be "In the event of a tie the player wins" cause that would contradict a lot for enemy based rolls.
