I never had a chance to travel in the TN though I belong down south. As I have been in Hyd since childhood, our regular trains were Charminar, Sabari or AP exp, Rajdhani. Thanks 🙏 for nice trip and facts. This reminds my journey in 1980-81 when we boarded in this train from Bhopal to Madras, and considered as India’s fastest train. No crowd, and speed was so high that when I was playing catch catch with cloth napkin it flew out of train without giving me chance to grab.

The king of Southern Railway, I still prefer to travel in TN considering it's departure timings, it would've been more better if the departure timings from Delhi remained at 22.30 instead of 21.05, but one drawback is increased travel time despite being upgraded to LHB rakes, Delhi to Chennai is 33.10 hrs instead of 32.40 hrs and Chennai to Delhi is 33.40 hrs instead of 33.00 hrs, hopefully it will get reduced to 32 hrs once it start running with 12622/12621...
