I found your channel back in 2014 I think, back when I was in high school and had just gotten into RPGs thanks to my aunt showing me Drakensang and Kingdoms of Amalur. Through tumblr I got into the Dragon Age games, and through wanting to know more about videogames I found all of you! I honestly don't have the words to explain just how wonderful being in this community has been, and how much enrichment you've given me in the lil enclosure I call my life :D You guys got me into D&D as well! Like so many viewers, I subscribed ages ago when I was just a fetus and now as I lie here on my deathbed typing this message, I want you guys to know that few things have been such a consistent part of my life as you have. Though I am no longer following game industry news ever since they released the best game to end all games, tetris, I still stick around because I just enjoy your personalities a lot, and not many KZbinrs have aged that well (both literally and character wise). I still look forward to and watch every video as if I just subscribed a week ago and not at the height of industrial revolution, and your lovely selfs have been great help during hard times like when the pandemic first hit my village in 1918. I can't remember exactly WHY I found it (maybe I was stuck on something and just searched KZbin for Batman Arkham Asylum videos?), but I know for a fact the first video of yours I watched was the five worst boss fights, so it must have been late 2013/early 2014. You all helped keep me from losing it in my first serious post-college job teaching at a small school in the middle of nowhere, running back to my office between classes to -watch one of your videos- prepare to inspire the next room of students. Happy Birthday! I can't remember when I started watching both channels. I think I actually stumbled across an Oxtra vid first and then came over here to Oxbox after that. I think I've been watching for at least 4 years, maybe 5. I honestly started watching more in 2019 and then a lot when lockdown started up in 2020. I've gotten more into gaming and into games I wouldn't have known or cared about if I hadn't found these channels. I share Ellen's love of Kingdoms of Amalur and I remembering being absolutely delighted at there being someone else who loves the game as much as me. Mike's car and racing game interests have me considering eithet GT7 or F1 22. Fundamentally different games, but I can't decide which I'd rather have; leaning toward F1 22 at the moment. Luke's Bloodborne streams really got me properly into FromSoftware games and I stayed up for many hours back in 2020 to snag a PS5 pre-order. Well worth it. Ellen's Souls Academy streams have also helped me make proper progress in Dark Souls 3. I think some of my favorite vids have been the ones in 2020 with you guys trying the gamer energy drinks and guessing the names, seeing whose collection is garbage, seeing whose collection is worth the most, guessing game titles, and all the ones like that. They're comforting and entertaining, so I've watched each at least twice now. The Adam Venture vid from years back with Andy and Jane is another I've visited, because the salty commentary is hilarious, especially Andy's remarks at the end of the vid after the windmills. Here's to many more years and many more presh mems!
