Good to see more about your own campaign. I picked up a few Birthright novels how well do they represent the setting?

I'm ashamed to admit that I never did get around to reading any of them. I had, may still have,a bias against fiction written around D&D settings. Still, I may end up grabbing one and giving it a shot one of these days.

They do not usually. There was a group henchmen last campaign named Groild who was nothing but a beast of burden, schlepping their goods around.

Yes you have potential. The volume of the music you have playing in the background is too low. Are we supposed to be hearing it?

Thank you! And the music is supposed to cover for dead silence in the background, it's not supposed to be that noticeable.

Do you have a rule that all players play as humans?

No, there's no hard and fast rule. Charles is actually half Eleven. I would never say "you can't" , but I would also want my player to really think about it. Full on Elves in Birthright are kind of surly and Dwarves are pretty rare in human society. It's a mostly human world as I've constructed it. But I have indeed had Elves and Dwarves in the party in the past.
