this is THE LITTLE RIVER BAND, the original and one and only, not the phony group touring today.

Whenever I’m craving real rock and roll out of the 70’s and 80’s, can’t help but going Australian. Glenn still leads the REAL LRB!

I love this. The REAL LRB... when I was a young girl I was sure Glenn would be my husband. Lol Love hearing him ❤️

I had the pleasure of living in Melbourne from 1974-1977. Every Sunday evening Countdown broadcast performances from LRB, AC/DC, Air Supply, and other Australian acts. I did not realize how fortunate I was to enjoy those performances.

Had no idea AC/DC was Australian. Thought they were Brits, good to know.

Well, it's a bit of a gyp if Goble is going to stand there strumming chords and let Muscle Beach do all the solo work... Is he just there for contractual reasons because he wrote so many of their songs?

@@jondunmore4268 As opposed to what? LRB has always had a separate ''lead' guitarist.

No he isn't - but Glen IS Little River Band. And John is one of the best solo singers ever.

@@zapkvr Yeah Johnny's great but he's a small step behind Glenn! Glenn's the voice of LRB & always will be. Johnny filled in great but Glenn's the voice for them!!

Still an awesome group of guys and they sound awesome even after all these years.

This IS the voice of Little River Band! He still sounds pretty much the same. It's so regrettable that a band with no original members is going around as LRB. They sound more like a tribute band than Little River Band. This sounds like LRB because Glenn's voice is what we associate with LRB.

You have left out Birtles, and Goble, Glenn on his own would not pull it off, it's the three together that make their sound.

I remember when their first album came out. A progressive rock station in B'ham Alabama, WJLN, started playing it before anyone else in my area got on board. It really struck me as something fresh and good since it combined fantastic vocal harmonies with some meat on the bone. I had to buy the LP and they gave us at least four classic albums in a row plus a live one before the troubles started to slowly evolve. This is a glorious return to form.
