Many Many thanks for this important informative presentation. The main point of worry is that most of the stakeholders are either ignorant or negligent. The top Management of Discoms and other organizations requires to be more serious about appreciating the importance of consistent efforts for education and awareness of their employees through regular training and refresher training etc. The Regulatory Commissions are also expected to give due priority to this matter . CEA /BIS should also give priority in visiting the field to get feedback from field and actual problems in getting implemented the valuable provisions CEA Regulations etc. Regards. A commendable initiative by BIS. However it would be more helpful to the end users if an online discussion forum is promoted for clarifications of problems faced by the stakeholders while they are executing the provisions in actual practice

Its behind a login wall when the previous BIS SP 30 2011 was open.

The 2023 version of the Electrical Code is behind a login wall where if I don't provide my personal details I can't get the code. Why not? Why are the rules and regulations which will make my family safer behind a login wall? Especially when 2011 NEC was in public domain without a login. Please put it out there for free without requiring login. It will be immensely helpful. I was looking forward to its release but I never expected its launch and its future dissemination to be handicapped in this manner. Releasing this in the open makes the people safer and India safer. Please I beseech thr higher ups at BIS to make it NEC 2023 (SP 30) open for all without any login requirements.
