Biscuits and Gravy Live!!

Biscuits
1/2 cup butter (sliced and chilled)
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 Tblsp sugar
Milk (add a Tblsp at a time until right consistency)
Preheat oven to 415°F (212°C)
Mix dry ingredients. Cut in cold butter pieces. Add milk until you can form a dough ball. Roll out or pat out to 1/2 inch thick. Cut biscuits with a biscuit cutter or a drinking glass. Bake for 10 minutes, brush with melted butter and bake an additional 5 minutes or until golden brown.
Sausage Gravy
1 lb breakfast sausage
1 Cup flour
Salt and pepper to taste
About 3 Cups milk
Brown sausage. Remove sausage from pan but leave grease. Add flour to the grease. Cook until golden. Add milk and whisk constantly. When it reaches a boil, reduce temp to low and continue to whisk until smooth. Add more milk if too thick. Add sausage back into gravy and mix well. Enjoy!
