"Stop putting yourself down on dates" is something everyone socialized as a woman needs to hear, we're taught to humble ourselves and minimize ourselves and take up as little space as possible no matter how much we have to give. 07:13 - So she tells her date she's really pretty, then puts herself down by saying she's not "conventionally attractive" bc she's not "white, pretty and skinny..." Whilst the other girl she's just complimented is also not white & skinny...Interesting. [Btw, I think they're both very cute & attractive, conventionally or otherwise - girl needs up her confidence game and own it.]

I think the guy was put off by the fact there were people in her ear, giving her talking points. It would have been good to not tell him about the coaches. He stated he like genuineness and so, this was set up to fail, before they talked.

I can really relate to Simi. Not only I’m also an Aries but it’s also hard for me in letting someone in. I’m very independent and I’m used to doing things and handling my problems all alone by myself, without receiving any help from others even if I really needed it. Because of that and other personal problems, I’m currently crumbling down, realizing how I’m not ready and not capable to be in a relationship. When I finally realized how Emotionally Vulnerable I was, it also made me quite afraid to be in a relationship. To let someone in, to let them see your Vulnerability, your true self, and your naked soul is not easy. It really takes a lot of strength. So when Coach Cora said “ You’ll be pleasantly surprised when you experience relationship. There is actually isn’t a problem except for the mindset that there’s a problem.” Maybe what Coach Cora said is true. Maybe a relationship really isn’t that hard if we don’t think it’s hard, the same way Love isn’t supposed to be hard, but Committing or Commitment to Love is what makes it hard. (This is how I perceived Coach Cora’s words.) Thank you Coach Cora! Your words really brought Positivity on me to have Hope and be Positive in Relationships! 💜✨

I hate that people are so surprised by someone not having been in a relationship. I'm 24 and have never had a relationship. I have never had an opportunity, never met a person to have mutual feelings with. Honestly it seems very unlikely to mutually fall for each other, like what are the chances? I hate that people make me feel weird and different by being so surprised.

Can we stop pretending the day of the month you were born has anything to do with your personality? It’s the definition of make believe. You find out someone’s sign and decide how you feel about them before you even get to know each other, it’s actually sad

@@IncredibleIceCastle Personally, I do somehow agree. However, even tho it shouldn’t be taken as seriously as many people take it, I do read stuff that have to do with zodiac sings because it actually does match myself or any other zodiacs I know. I won’t discriminate someone because of their zodiac sign, that’s stupid 😂
@IncredibleIceCastle3 жыл бұрын
@@Hello-tr9ql you’ve never taken a step back and realized that literally every horoscope and astrological description involves vague, extremely relatable qualities or traits that at least millions of people in each star sign can relate to in some capacity? There’s a famous experiment that was conducted where they took a group of people and told them that they were going to be creating a personality profile on each of them based on random attributes which didn’t correlate to their personality type (I’m sure you’ve taken these kinds of tests for fun online). When the people read over the profiles created for them, almost every single one of them rated it as “highly agree” when it came to how accurate of a representation of themselves they believed it was. What they didn’t know was everyone was given the same exact profile with broad, almost universally shared qualities or personality traits…🤦🏽♂️

Who says something as confrontational as, "You're lying." on a first date? Where did he think he was, the interrogation scene in a police procedural? To that dude, I would recommend adding a little understanding to that humility of his. To Simi, I would say you sound smart, you look gorgeous, and you seem to have drive, you don't need to put yourself down. The world is always ready to do that for you, you don't need to help it. I hope you find what you're looking for.
