hell yeah! building lambos is cool but your average car guy cant relate to them. But a cheap project car build? Thats the kinda stuff we spent/spend our weekends on! (I use 'cheap' loosely but a 20k BRZ build is much more relatable than a 100k lambo build).

Dude I love how you put more work into this video. I know you work hard for every build, but it’s super nice to see you have a lot of hands on time in the vid. I like to see the building not just skips to the finish project or fast forward through the work from a distance.

Looks like a track day car. Track outline on the rear window. Fresh oil change before track day is pretty standard. Track day guys run tires with tread, not slicks. They also run a lot of front camber. It probably spun, grazed the drivers side and hit the wall on the passenger side. I've wrecked a brz racecar in a very similar way (at the track during an endurance race 😅)

That on the negative terminal of the battery is the BMS (battery monitoring system) basically regulates the charge from the alternator which has a clutch fitted internally you may notice it does not always charge the battery all of the time, this is to help the longevity of the battery by only charging it when needed.

like a smart phone charger basically. stretch the life by not stressing it with voltage and amps when it doesnt need it

31:19 that white part in the tail light aren't the reverse lights, they're the amber turn signals, the reverse lights are in the bottom middle of the bumper, arguably, the amber turn signals are safer than if you made them red.

I know you had a fun time with the fender and all, but if you need a quick easy way to seal something like that off again, try stuffing a plastic bag in the hole, then fill with spray foam. Doesn't stick to anything other than the bag, but will fill in all the gaps. (It can be fun getting it out though, because it can expand behind things.)

if you are going to replace most of the rear oem suspension, you should try to replace it with the gr86 version. the main differences with the twins is right here where the sway bar mounts to. It's more rigid on the gr86 (sporty driving) but since you have a brz, you also own the better of the two options, the aluminum wheel hubs. on the gr86, they are steel.
