I was in high school when India won world cup in 1983. Those days Kapil was everybody's hero and I guess even now. I watched cricket only to see him bowl and bat. The man is a legend. I stand in awe even after so many years. There is nobody in the entire goddamn world of cricket that matches Kapil Dev in the way he played, carried himself, motivated the country and won games...nobody period. I respect other cricketers for their talents. But Kapil is the LEGEND.
