I'm sitting here doing an examination of conscience preparing for the Sacrament of Confession. I prayed to the Holy Spirit to help me make a true and honest confession. There was a particular sin that I needed to confess and it was weighing on me. I clicked into this video and I feel it resonates with me right now. God is so forgiving, merciful and loving. Didn't Judas help us to be saved by Christ death? Didn't he hang himself for what he had done? Isn't that why the Lord ask Judas to follow him?

Yes, yes, yes. But God gives free will. If you change by seeing a person killed by another, and you effect a change in lifestyle that you were spared in that killing, does that mean, God will spare the killer, because, that killer made to a change for the better? For that reason, God allows evil reign in the world, so that atleast some are saved because of them.

Judas could've repented though. Matthew 27:1-10 states that after learning that Jesus was to be crucified, Judas was overcome by remorse and attempted to return the 30 pieces of silver to the priests. However, they refused to accept the money, considering it blood money. Consequently, Judas threw the coins on the ground and departed. Subsequently, he tragically committed suicide by hanging himself, in accordance with Mosaic law (Deuteronomy 21:22-23). The priests, unable to put the returned money into the temple treasury because it was considered tainted, used it to purchase a potter's field. This field became known as Akeldama (חקל דמא - khakel dama), meaning the Field of Blood, due to its association with the blood money. Acts 1:18 also mentions that Judas used the money to buy a field. For that reason, Jesus said, it would have been better for the man to be not born, which depicts his ultimate fate in hell. God when he creates a human, he knows his or hers ultimate fate. Yet he creates them because through them the others would benefit of the ultimate good in heaven. For that reason, God has given free will, as given to Adam and Eve. Did God not know that Adam and Eve will sin, surely God did, same as when God created Angels, so that, ultimate good will come by hardwork and automatic. For that reason Jesus said, take up your cross and follow me, he did not tell take a chip of the cross here and there, he wants the whole cross.

Beautiful seeing people like this. Alot of our Catholic religious priests go much too far pandering to the woke crowd. We need to keep our Church IN the world but not OF the world. We need to clarify Church teaching and speak the truth even when it offends. It unfortunately might scare off Catholics with a weak faith and an ignorance of the church's teachings in the short term but in the long term will attract far more people to the Church as it is more clear and speaks the truth. I hate criticising our Pope but Francis can be a very confusing Pope and is taken alot out of context(deliberately not sometimes by mistake). We he is good with reconciling the Church with the world but he needs to also speak of when they are different and when the world is wrong and when idealogy and sin take over(as they have done so especially sexually in the west).

​@jimmysmith2948 Jesus knew all of this in advance. Judas' betrayal was an integral part of our Savior giving his life up for us. The Lord used Judas to this end and I imagine has long since forgiven him.

The Church cannot condemn people to hell, but in the 1962 Roman Missal for the Tridentine Latin Mass, the Collect for Holy Thursday states: "O God, from whom Judas received the punishment of his guilt, and the thief the reward of his confession... our Lord Jesus Christ gave to each a different recompense according to his merits..." Jesus said, “Woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! It would have been better for that man if he had not been born” (Matt. 26:24). While this statement implies that Judas’s final destination was hell, it cannot be known whether or not he repented of his sins before his death, and so it cannot be said with certainty that Judas is in hell.

However, many of his claims lack support from secular history, such as his assertion that the Pope supported the Ku Klux Klan, which contradicts the historical stance of the Church as a staunch opponent of the KKK and the KKK hated the Church regardless.

@@FultonSheenClips My point exactly. He stood against the false church of Rome and paid a heavy price in reputation and difficulty for the rest of his life. Men don't pay such a price unless they are wholly committed to what they believe. He was a whistleblower before they were considered a thing and it cost him dearly. He exposed the corruption of the Roman Catholic Church and it has been corroborated by many. Of course, from a Roman Catholic viewpoint, he would have dispersions and doubts cast on him. I'd expect nothing less from such a powerful and satanic organization.
