Nana Addo and Bawumia economy is better than MAHAMA regime in 2016. Under MAHAMA economy in 2016, the cedi to dollar was $1=4.2, fact, yet MAHAMA couldn’t buy common chalk for schools, he canceled all allowances and collapse NHIS, he introduced capitation in some regions, he paid nurses and teachers who taught and worked for 3 yrs and over only 3 months salaries, all government agencies was on strike from one sector to the other in this country, there was Dumso for over 4yrs, worker’s salaries was not increased for two years, in fact in all the ndc 8 yrs. Salaries was increased 7%. Embargo was placed on public recruitment for 4yrs. Nurses and teachers were not posted from 2012-2016. MAHAMA mismanaged the economy under his supposed better economy to the point he had to go to imf for bailout using the Ebola as his basis for mismanaging the economy. Can you say that now to Nana Addo Bawumia government? All that was happening under MAHAMA mismanaged economy is no more. In facts nana Addo in the midst of pandemic recruited nurses from 2012-2022. Increasing their salaries by 50%. Teachers stayed at home for almost a year but none was on the streets for unpaid salaries, today you see workers going on strike not because of unpaid salaries but for a salary increment. This government for 8yrs have increased worker’s salaries by 30% across board. He’s manage to pay for FSHS for almost 8yrs without arrears. He’s done 4 times the road done by MAHAMA go to ministry of road and highways website the data is there. He’s increase school enrollment by 35-40% check data on ministry of education website. He’s recruited more Ghanaians into the public sector than any government in the fourth republic, the private sector have expanded and employ more Ghanaians than any government in the 4th republic. So factually, you see your claim about Bawumia being a failure for the Economy is false because the facts says otherwise with the dollar to cedi being 1=17, this government have been able to achieve all this including the many infrastructure development across all sectors of the economy, can you say same about your MAHAMA 4.2 cedis economy in 2016? Unless you want to do your normal propaganda and lies, the logics and facts will expose you. When it comes to cedi to the percentage of dollar inflation the Npp performance is better than your Ndc. Same applies to amount of monies borrowed by both government. So get your facts right and do proper reading and research on issues before you try to say them. Thank you.
