May the Almighty God bless our beloved Bishop Martin Mtumuka for his courage. I was one of the faithfuls of Karonga diocese who was completely offended when I heard about the blessing of the same sex marriages and said if possible it is better to breakaway and form our own African Catholic Church (ACC) because same sex marriage is an abomination in our culture. If our bishops were to accept blessings of same sex marriages, many of us were going to leave the church but now we are happy because our bishops have publicly rejected the blessing of same sex marriages. May we join together to pray for the church and the Pope.
