More than you know. Fr. Moreno, a priest of that diocese, who threatened that diocese to blow open the entire network a few years back was found with a bullet in his head. The odd thing was the angle, and with his physical limitations it was unlikely that he could have shot himself in the back of the head. Also his desk had been broken into, and his fax machine was missing, and a fax had been sent to the local newspaper. Father had threatened to tell all to the diocese and was found dead a couple days later. It was ruled a suicide. The body has been recently exhumed for another autopsy. I've experienced having my parish priest ignore domestic violence, both in my marriage & in several of my friend's as well. In my case, when I went to my parish priest for guidance & support-as I was instructed to do so during my premarital counseling- he told me he was required by law to tell me to "be safe" & "make sure to keep my kids safe" in what ever way I felt appropriate, but I was firmly reminded repeatedly to "honor my vows" & that "I had to have a spirit of forgiveness"!! No help or support was offered & the abuse was ignored!! I have since left the marriage & the church. My abusive husband has been given more responsibility & power in the church, along with being an alter server!!! The church has vilified me for leaving, though!! Seems the Catholic church ignores all forms of abuse.

They have very strict policies regarding all abuse & have been very supportive of me & my daughters in our healing process. I'm thankful that we're moving on & working on getting better.

@Danny451 Fuentes here's my take on the Bible..itself a beautiful incomplete OLD ANCIENT novel written by men! It is no secret that the Bible we know today is not the complete Bible. The Popes of the past have removed canons from the Bible in order to suit whatever they were trying to push onto the public at that time they were removed! I don't believe the Bible was ever to be taken so literally and I do believe that there are many hypocrisies in the Bible itself that we know today! I do believe that the 10 Commandments should be followed, however they need to changed a bit due to technological advances! As far as religion is concerned...I was raised Greek Orthodox and it is very traditional service wise, but many parishes have modernized it's way of thinking as far as the LGBTQ+ community is concerned! Up until the early 90's it was highly frowned upon for women to wear dressy pants and dressy shorts into the church. Women were supposed to wear dresses/skirts. However in the 90's that church itself changed and started accepting the fact that it is okay for women to wear pants/shorts into the church! However, unlike the Catholic church, you must be dressed up to come to church. No jeans, no tshirts, and no looking like you are going out on the town! I appreciate that! But I do feel that religions themselves are corrupt and NOT at all what was in mind when supposedly Jesus was around. I do not believe I need to go to a specific building on a specific day to talk to God! I believe I can "talk to" God whenever I need to! Whether it be at home, in my car, at work, etc.

This is what I don't understand about Christians. And I don't care what variation of Christianity you worship there's over 14,000 variations of Christianity around the world. Mary was about 14 15 years old when she got pregnant. So she's a teen mother. And the Catholic Church worships a 14 year old pregnant girl. A girl who got pregnant not by her choice, so you can say technically she was sexually assaulted she was raped. But because it was a Divine thing and her uterus was usurped by this entity. And there is so much more that has not been put into it. And the Catholic Church holds a lot of Dark Secrets within its walls. I think we all know that. But the one thing the Catholic Church does better than any other religion on the planet. Outside of Islam. And that at the end of the day this is all a farce so they turned it into a multibillion-dollar business.
