I agree, Resistance has as many difficulties, if not more, than Sedevacantism. You never hear about it though. It has been long enough that to Resist is problematic. Especially concerning the Universal Ordinary Magisterium. How is deciding what you will obey and what you won't Catholic??? It's a big problem. It won't be resolved until Tradition is restored in better days.

@tonysaid6184 Something else to consider is that the consecration that Our Lady Of Fatima requested was not done specifically to her request. The wording was changed and it was not done in union with all the bishops of the world by four Popes now. Eye witnesses were very attentive at these consecrations so that they could say with certainty that they were valid which wasn't the case. We should have seen a time of peace with Russia's conversion by now and the Church's restoration. They can only hold out for so long till things decline to such a state that they will be forced to do a proper consecration. Fervent Rosaries must still be offered for this intention.

I think that what most people don't understand about that is it probably can't be accomplished unless the Pope threatens and does excommunicated the bishops of the world that refuse. That means the west may save the Orthodox from schism and doctrinal error, but the East saves the West with apostolic succession. I once read that the real reason it was never done was because of geopolitical threats from "the powers that should not be" namely invasion or nuclear war.

I have had more venom spewed at me by fellow catholics because they say I'm disobedient for speaking against the diluted, modernist teachings of current church hierarchy. I feel I'm under no obligation to follow an anti pope that's tearing apart the faith. They insist Bergoglio is pope and I point out that we've had anti popes in history, so I can't in good conscience agree. Does this make me not catholic somehow? Sorry can't listen to Sanborn anymore with his promotion of thesis 2.0, thesis 1.0 was still heretical but even Bishop Guerard des Lauriers did not believe a "material pope" was capable of nominating valid Cardinals or ordain (no longer consecrate) bishops and priests. He felt that the JP II's election was only valid because of the 10 valid cardinals that took part in the conclave that received their positions before VII So now that is no longer the case, there are no more valid cardinals which brings to an end the thesis of Bp Guerard des Lauriers, Sanborn has manifested his own spin, so I call it thesis 2.0 no longer the thesis of Bp des Lauriers, but now the thesis of Bp. Sanborn ... just like what all modernists do. Also all the priests coming out of the seminary have been indoctrinated / poisoned by it. They don't give any disclaimer about how this was an idea concocted by one individual after VII in order to try to eek out some exit strategy from the VII mess. No it's taught by them all as if it is absolute truth and this is how Sanborn teaches it So in short this is heretical modernism in disguise. It is also an abomination, the seminarians have been indoctrinated so when they leave they will continue to spread this poison wherever they go, and it appears as if Sanborn has been blinded so as not to see what he is doing , not just for his false belief but the fallout of him forcing it on everyone else I will never trust a priest that comes out of this seminary which is very sad since we have so few valid priests left

I like his call to living your faith radically and without compromise... Christianity was always counter cultural!... this is very attractive... radicalism makes you feel that you are doing something, contributing, answering the call, going against the stream even if struggling.... you feel that you are being engaged with your faith.. BUT there is also something not kosher with his call for division (maybe nostalgia for secular power once Church held, or maybe not... but sadly often it is this what it boils down to when it comes to clergy)... call for division, separation... focus on what divides us vs what unites us... Is this the work of the Holy Spirit?... Holy Spirit is the problem here... He is that wind who blows where he likes.... He can be present even in penitent thief.... who was not exactly the member of the society of Jesus... if Holy Spirit is in you then you are OK, you are the member of the Church... but If you have no love of God , no Holy Spirit, no Sanctifying Grace in you, then you are not part of the Church even if you are baptized in the river of Jordan and doing all the rituals in Latin that you do not understand.. There are too many fractures in the Church. Some of the comments are chiding SSPX - call them modernists - because there may be talks about reconciling with Rome. Rome is our Mother, and she's sick right now. How do all the factions help her? There are good priests in the NO who so dislike what's coming out of Rome. They say Mass reverently, and there are some very holy people in the NO. God isn't cruel. These folks and priests act under Holy Obedience like our Lord did when he was condemned unjustly to the Cross. We've had misguided and just downright bad Popes. It's God who judges them. The fight is better, more effective when we're united and not divided. Someone in these comments mentioned the Holy Spirit in a way that seemed challenging - I hope I'm wrong about that. Remember that God invites. He is a gentleman. We can reject the Holy Ghost and that's on us. If the Church is in tatters, God is aware of that, but what are we doing as Catholics? We have an obligation to pray for all those who are assisting in this mess. Hearts can change; blinders can come off. Division like we've been seeing for decades now has got to stop. If there aren't enough people in the boat to bail out the water, she'll have a hard time staying afloat. The more hands on deck, the better. It's about us doing our part. We gonna stay in the life raft just caring for ourselves or are we going to get in the ship and take that slimy old bucket and bail? The choice is ours.

We have bigger problems in the church. Most dont even receive communion on the tongue. Many of our pulpits dont even come close to preaching the hard truths of our faith. We have many issues that need to be addressed. But i dont see it happening. We got a lot of work to do, just to raise our Catholic standard to the lowest end of this martyres standard. Does anyone truly have the answer. I dont think so. Otherwise the Church would be growing not declining. Again we have far greater issues that are much less importance yet we cant even address them. We have a pope who puts a Amazonian Pacamama idol on the Alter in Rome. How are we to follow a church that has within it Gods enemies who wish to bring it down from within, just like comnunists are doing in America and perverting or ignoring the constitution. Yet in church matters there are stone cutters within it that are satan worshippers. How are we to know what to believe at this point?

The analogies that are offered here against the real communion that exists between our separated brethren and Christ do not seem, to me, to be valid. The good bishop gives examples of marriage and baptism that are absolutes, by their nature, whereas we know that relationships are by degree. We know that this is so in the Beatific Vision in which some people will be closer to God than others but all will be in communion with God, as they stand before him in his presence, in Heaven. He is conflating the sin of unholy Communions with that of having a right and loving relationship with our separated brethren that is based on truth. We should be clear about their errors which separate us from them but also the truths that unite us, even if, so imperfectly. It is through dialogue, a word unfairly characterised, by some, as entirely poisonous, that we will be able to coexist with those who might never give up their erroneous beliefs. Vatican II has clearly brought many ills to the Church, in its wake, but we should never lose sight of the fact that Christ dialogued with religious leaders who held many others captive through their erroneous leadership. We must avoid extremes when it comes to concealing the truths of the Catholic faith by avoiding all dialogue with others who are not in communion with that true faith. That dialogue should be based upon the truths of our Catholic faith in which, while keeping them at arms length, we share the goal of a peaceful coexistence in which the freedom to err is acknowledged in order to provide them with the opportunity to merit a free and full acceptance of the Catholic faith in the future.
