I'll never forget the first sermon I heard Bishop Jakes preach! I didn't know who he was and had never seen him. I had been in service at a Conference all day and by the time they put him up, around 10 or 11p I was worn out tired. I got up to leave and the Holy Ghost said to me,"Stay!" All I can say is,"Oooh whee!" I heard myself scream, "Lord, who is this man!!!!" I couldn't get up off the floor!! Folk were shouting and dancing everywhere! The Glory released in that Conference was indescribable! His message was, "Get Away From That Gate!". I still have the cassette! 😏 And I'm forever grateful that I obeyed the voice of the Holy Ghost!

Hey Jonathan, if you ever come across "LUNCH MONEY" please share it!!! It was back in 1995-1997 time frame & the meeting was at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island NY. They had it on youtube for years but they took it down. I had it on VHS & threw it away! But they still have it on amazon. It was one of the greatest messages I ever heard him preach.
