I usually use a 3.5 bishop v6 but been thinking bout getting a wand the packer , i usually do black n gray n some color. Do u reccomend the packer for that type of work.??

Aloha, I've been using the wrap technique you use in the video. Wanted to see if you're cutting the corner of the machine bag, or if you're leaving it and pushing cartridge through it. I'm cutting the corner.

Hi, you have recommended 8-10 Voltage. But the voltage is recommended by builder is 6-8. I work with bishop wand packer. I think 6-8 it is not enough. What do you think?

I use the wand shader. But I run it at 7,7.5 and 7.8 volts depending on what I’m doing. I’ve turned it up to about 8.5 before and it’s ran solidly.. I would say it depends on what type of cartridges you are using too

Between the wand and the spectra xion what would you reccomend more?

Well I would say it depends on what your wanting? I like the wand shader because it seem to work best with how I shade.. but the xion is overall well versed in different applications like color packing as well as lining etc.. the wand shader fell short for me when trying to push heavy line weights a little bit bishop make a wand pack which is said to cover Packing, shading, line work.

I have the Xion but for me it is very slow, it is not good for lines. I use the bishop Fantom and it is good for everything and now I ordered the wand shader

Question. I'll buy wand or terra for packing and lining. I think wand is short and lighter then terra, i dosent use those, what machine do you want to recommend?

KIM SANG YOON it’s hard to say I mostly still use the wand over many of machines but I have been using some of peaks machines they have been making as well. Also wanting to try out the flux soon

Is the hit(softness/hardness not the stroke) adjustable?

Gabrielle Bonfiglio unfortunately not. The longer the stroke is the harder it hits. The shorter the lighter of a hit. But I will say 3.5 is a good all around stroke with this shader I’ve done a ton of tattoos with it so far and it’s great

Seventh Trumpet Tattoos I thought the same at first but I do like the shader a lot. I understand why they chose to go the route they did. But Franco said that these machines are meant to run a specific way.. Definitely a cool machine

Balli Tattooer it’s definitely softer than what I thought it would be which is nice! But I can’t really push any liners bigger than a 11rl really well do to that.. but great for building up shades I’ve used all kinds of cartridges now and now I use black claw and haven’t had any issues even at using it almost a year later

@@CoreyHollins thanks man, I already got the packer and absolutely love it for lines and colorwork but not so much for shading...a bit too much for me 😂 but I really like the basic design concept behind the wand machines....so I was thinking about going for the shader as well

I think so. The shader I’m using is strong enough and the packer is even stronger of a hit and has a 4.2 stroke length. סוסיתא בר susita bar

is it hit direct drive like sol nova? or is like another kind of hit? or is it have the tipical inside disign of mostly of pen tattoo machines?

sergioduromusic it has the bar similar to the stylus machines inside. Quite different than other pen style machines. That give gives it a much smoother hit. Just my opinion. I never liked any other pen machines, but these bishop wands are my daily machines since I got them a couple months back.

@@JonPoulson i guess the motor is the same or very similar to the fantom bishop in the shader version, the cam is the same as the bishop fantom but turn it in the opposite way , it just look like a unibody fantom machine , diferent hit because of the shorter and angled hitter but pretty the same xd i have the fantom i never try the pen, in the future i will try it heh, bishop is a good brand

sergioduromusic it’s quite a bit different than the bishop phantom... I used that quite a bit. It’s a customized motor similar to that one, and the internal setup is the same as stylus machines original, not the T2, including the bend in the bar “push rod”. But there is no comparison to the phantom the way they both run pretty different.

One clip cord sleeve over it bend it over the end. Tape it wrap it and it’s done. You made it look so fiddly haha

Myles Critchley I could see that working.. I just like the two half’s not connected by a barrier so I can deal with less twisting of the barrier when adjusting my needle depth with this machine

what you pay is what you get ...my first machine I used before 6 years was a bishop capo 3.5 stroke and still have it without need of service ...only lubricant and that’s it ...of course the last couple of years is not my daily machine cause I like to try new machines ,for now I use a spektra xion and I’m more than pleased and soon I’ll get one of wand machines ,maybe the liner beast ...tattoo machines from major brands are like investing money for me...
