When we forget about the Creator, he can certainly forget about us! That is no joke (been there). Everything always depends who's asking. God never stops communicating with us, but we may be concerned with the complaints of our ego before we hear His voice. Peace is required to hear the Lord's voice. I agree with much of the bishop's teaching but on this subject I agree with other Christian teachers who believe that God is never silent.
