This is extremely touching song. I remember seeing this movie in Platinum Theater in Mangalore . This song comes at the end of the movie I suppose . After wonderful trip to the poverty ( then prevalent in India ) , this song comes with such a touching acting. Audience is really stunned to see this super acting which is really all most everyone's story. All are crying and when the movie ends there is pin drop silence in the talkies. Super Hit movie and super hit Song. The people who involved Rajan Nagedra Music Director Singer S Janakamma , Actor Lakhmi Ananathanag and film director all are great artist and they gave this wonderful piece which is priceless. Photogtaphy technology had not developed that much during that time. Human skills talent are terrific. Today technology is superhigh. Human talent is near zero.

We Tamil film fans were/are at huge loss because of two legendary, natural actress. One is Laxmi and the other is Srividya both are the best in their profession in terms of acting and elegant. We lost Laxmi for Kannada and Srividya for Malayalam. It is a pity that Both of them were not recognized at the national level. It is high time now that we should make all our efforts to get our Laxmi honoured at highest level. (Srividya is no more now)

What was loss to us was a gain to Kannada and Malayalam industry. We Tamil fans didn't see,love,and enjoy much of their actions on screen. A real and a big miss. That was my feelings/anxiety. For me humanity comes first. There is no place for linguistic chauvinism in any form. Just for your information, if go slightly back,ie.before Independence there were no TN,Karnataka, Kerala etc.,. If we go some 1000years back, today's South India and whole of South East Asia was ruled by the kingdom of Chola,the Golden period of Tamil Kingdom.RajaRaja Chozhan and his son Rajendra Chozhan ruled these places/countries for about 130 years. We all are sons/daughters of our Great Mother India.

Hence there is no political leader came from cine field. Many of ANNAVARU movie when re-made in other languages they twisted climax to suit the audience. Rajankant who came from Kannada is big star in Tamil film industry purely because of action. However in 2022 onwards young Tamil people appears to be coming out of cine politicians. They are embracing Annamalai honestly which is welcome. Incidentally most of the old hit movies are shot at AVM studio Chennai. Hope i have not hurt your feelings. If I did please excuse me
