I could be wrong but it's probably more like 80 jobs , that's going to be EXPENSIVE and the windshield job is only going to pay between $300-$500 and half of that is for the glass so after expenses for driving to the job , paying for labor and everything else, your really only making around $100 a job so only $10-$15 of that is going to be covering the tool cost at a time ... And I'm sure that cool tool going to cost upwards of $750 - $1,000 if not more ...

@@jesusischrist1527just a little info for you from a glass fella. Depending on who you go through to buy a string cut tool similar to this you are going to spend between $700 and $1000. The average windshield replacement is about $300 on the low end and can run you up to a few thousand for a very high end car Tesla, Range Rover, etc. profit margins in this business are not insane in most cases especially when you factor in things like material cost (glue, activator, primer, glass cleaner) but to answer your original question/curiosity. Yes you could pay this tool off in a few jobs depending on the job. But generally speaking it’s very doable.
@billyjack59575 ай бұрын
@@tombutkovich986 if the car has rain sensors, adas etc the windshields can be pricey but most common windshields are under $80 at Mygrant (aftermarket not OEM) if you have a decent account volume. What we don't buy through Mygrant we get through Equalizer. What sucks is all the good aftermarket like PPG/PGW, Pilkington, Guardian, Ceramex are gone and it's all Chinese glass which don't hold up to rock strikes as well.
