Awesome 🙌🏼 I've seen that the 2025 Mavrick will have USD forks and color TFT display, both taken from Harley X440. So, 2025 model will have premium components.

Nice review mate..Its a good looking bike..I love this design..The engine has everything to be a perfect cruiser..Hero will be bringing an updated variant with golden USD and tft display.A scrambler variant is also in the pipeline..Hope that will bring more sales for this amazing machine.

Thanks man 🙌🏼 and I agree, the engine on this is amazing and it'd be perfect for the scrambler version as the abundant bottom end torque is beneficial for off-road stuff. Let's see how that one turns out.

@thirdlevel27Күн бұрын
Hero made a practical motorcycle but people want fancy stuffs like Upside down suspension and all!! The design could have been better though.
@BISONBHARGAVAКүн бұрын
I think it was because of the pricing that people expected USD forks considering that Bajaj has given USD for NS400 at around 2 Lakhs. But, in the real world, the difference in performance isn't that noticeable between conventional and USD forks as I realised from my rides. In fact USD forks can shift the centre of gravity higher since the fork oil will be at the top of the suspension. A well setup suspension like on the Mavrick is better than just fancy equipment. USD will aesthetically make it look better for sure, but for riding, either will do.

Is it advisable to buy this maverick 440 as Im currently riding rtr 180 previously? or ns200?
@BISONBHARGAVA4 күн бұрын
NS200 is an absolute legend. You can't go wrong with that. It is a fantasticly fun motorcycle to ride. The Mavrick is relatively new but having ridden it for 1000 Kms, I was surprised at how good it turned out to be. I will recommend that you take a test ride and see how you feel about it and unless you're getting a considerable discount on 2024 stock of Mavrick 440, I'd say you wait for the 2025 model as it'll mostly get the USD forks and full TFT display.

Speed 400 has also similar torque but with more power. So which is your pick?
@BISONBHARGAVA4 күн бұрын
Yes. Triumph speed 400 has more power and it's torque (around 37 NM) is delivered at 6,500 rpm as compared to 4,000 rpm on the Mavrick. So, the Speed 400 will be slightly more revv happy than Mavrick and at around 175 kilos, it is lighter as well. However, if I was buying a 400cc motorcycle for myself, for my style of slightly spirited riding, I'll skip the Triumph or Hero and go straight to the Bajaj NS 400Z. Similar power, torque and weight as the Triumph but priced lower while still being good fun to ride.
@arivu17014 күн бұрын
@@BISONBHARGAVA Good to know. The NS400Z also good but the main con is shorter wheelbase which is lesser than NS200. And the design which is decade old. And at low rpm there is some vibration. Otherwise it's a good one.
@BISONBHARGAVA4 күн бұрын
Yeah I think the NS400 has the shortest wheelbase among the 400s and almost similar to my RS 200. Shorter wheelbase does translate to better agility at lower speeds and I did want to get a test ride to see how it felt. But, as I said in the video, no test ride was available at Bajaj. Regarding design, for me the NS400 looks damn good. It has a mean look while every other 400 is going for the retro classy look. As an RS200 owner, it's natural I'd like the NS400 design 🤣
@arivu17014 күн бұрын
They might come up with the RS400, but not sure. A shorter wheelbase could definitely make it great for city rides with better agility, but for long cruising, it might not be as comfortable. You're absolutely right about the customer service-Bajaj doesn’t have test bikes in my area either. The only one available was the N250, and even for that, they restricted the test ride to less than 2 km. Really disappointing service
@BISONBHARGAVA4 күн бұрын
Absolutely. It'd be a wasted opportunity if they didn't make the RS400. I think the first RS motorcycle was supposed to be a 400cc one. But, market then wasn't that keen on 400cc motorcycles. Also, one major drawback of short wheelbase is stability on highway rides. It's one thing I did not like on my RS200. Regarding customer service, Bajaj sells motorcycles in thousands a month so they don't feel a compelling need to provide test rides to shift units. I bought my pulsar 220 as well as the RS200 by test riding my friend's motorcycles. The people at the Udupi showroom are polite and the work from the service has be very good but, test rides are difficult to get.

This I think I'd have to agree on but I didn't give it much thought as I had the support of the backrest. I'll need to ask my sister what she thinks of it now. She had no issues with it but that again might have been due to the support from the back rest.

@BISONBHARGAVAКүн бұрын
I kept the revs at or below 4,000 rpm since I thought there's no point in going beyond peak torque rpm. But I understand that post 4,000 rpm it can get viby considering that it is a long stroke motor, so keeping it below that rpm will give you enough fun during the ride. My brother in law has done long rides as well as regular city rides and he's finding it perfectly manageable.

Bro this is no way near compared to ns 400
@BISONBHARGAVA3 күн бұрын
I know. Nowhere in the video did I compare this to the NS400. The Mavrick is made for comfort while the NS is made for just pure fun. For my style of riding, I'd buy the NS400 over the Triumph Speed 400, Hero Mavrick or any Royal Enfield. But my brother in law needed something that had plush suspension and was comfortable for daily riding. So it's always good to have options that cater to different riding styles.
@vishakp76273 күн бұрын
@@BISONBHARGAVAcan you give your remark on ns400 instead of speed 400? Speed 400 is phenomenal and very torque compared to ns,is because you like Bajaj or what?
@BISONBHARGAVA3 күн бұрын
Absolutely. Hero, Royal Enfield and Triumph went for a bit of retro/classic looks for thier 400s. I like a sporty, mean and fun looking motorcycle which is how Bajaj designed the NS400. So, it is personal preference and I do love the design of both speed and scrambler 400. They look almost similar to their 900 and 1200cc models, which is amazing. Just like how the Aprilia RS457 looks like the RSV4 (my dream bike). But for me personally, right now, a classy design is not something I'm looking for.
