Hello sir. I've been thinking to buy this bike. But I have a couple of doubts regarding this. I'm 5'10 and the bike's weight is not a problem for me. But what I see on every review is that there'll be vibrations if we start going past 100kmph. Even though I'm not a fast driver I generally go 85-90 speed max, but I get funny sometimes and go at 110-120. But that's rare tho. Very rarely. So I wanted to know, does the vibrations really reduce the riding experience much while going at high speeds (even at 90-100)? And the mileage this bike gives is promising enough? You said it gives around 30kmpl. You sure it doesn't give below 25kmpl atleast in city roads? I mostly drive in the city and occasionally i go on long drives (maybe 1-2 days in a month). I came across this bike and everyone's saying positive things about its smoothness and maneuverability. That's exactly the type of premium bike i want as someone who drives in the city mostly. I've seen that there is an issue with the neutral sensor but besides that, can you let me know any other major cons this bike has? Thanks in advance

Do you feel it's a noticeable upgrade from rs 200 and how does rs hold its own against this. Curious as I'm a RS owner
@BISONBHARGAVA12 күн бұрын
I wouldn't consider Mavrick an upgrade from the RS200 because these are two different class of motorcycles. One is cruiser and one is sporty. In city, the Mavrick is super fun due to it's abundant bottom end torque. On the highway though, the RS will gap the Mavrick because of its top end grunt and aerodynamics due to fairing.

I just completed 4118 km - 15 day ride from Pune to Kanyakumari and back, just a week ago. During this trip, I rode about 600+ km for a few days, rode it everyday, in ghats, on highways, a bit of off-roading, rode it slow and nice and revved it when it was safe on highways. Mileage is around 30 kmpl. I experienced no to little back/bum pain, little exhaustion overall. It lacks some fancy-gimmicky stuff that other bikes in the segment flaunts however I am happy to have gone ahead with Hero Mavrick 440 with all its pluses and minuses. Just got its 3rd servicing done at 10000 Km registered on the odometer.

@@BISONBHARGAVAOk, Anyway thanks for the reply man. Also, another question, is the power and torque gains are noticeable when using the powertronics and are there any issues you noticed.
@BISONBHARGAVA21 күн бұрын
I'm not sure about whether there was a gain in power or torque since I didn't dyno the engine but, what was definitely noticeable was the throttle response. The acceleration in RACE+ mode was so linear and crisp right till 11,500 Rpm. Combined with the Quickshifter, the engine was such a treat to revv. It was amazing. The only issue I faced was a slight puncture in one of the valve guide because of the constant revving till 11,000 Rpm (expected!) 🤣🤣 The valve guide puncture only caused slight choking above 9 or 10,000 Rpm. But, after changing the valve guide, the bike was back to full performance.

I ride rs200 and its really great reving to the high rpm but at times when you're just riding for the scenery and feel of wind low torque bikes are greate, I got the chance to ride thunderbird 350 and compared to rs it had all the torque at initial and was so calm to ride and by considering the torque difference between thunderbird and M440, I can understand what you feel ;-)
@BISONBHARGAVA22 күн бұрын
Thanks for sharing your experience.👍🏼 Switching to RS after riding long stroke single cylinder motorcycle really makes us feel the absence of torque low down. The Mavrick maxes out it's torque at 4,000 Rpm while RS wakes up at 4,000 Rpm 🤣. Each engine has its charm though.

nice video . this one has oil cooling right? mine also. but 160cc . once i was stuck at a festival (summer , evening) road block for 30-45min, and my bike was idle and very slow moving. engine got over heated and oil lamp warning was shown. if it was a liquid cooled engine, the fans will turn on and cool the coolant . except suzuki , none are giving oil cooler radiator fan. after your brother use it in banglore traffic , pls update how the heat situation is
@BISONBHARGAVA24 күн бұрын
Oil lamp icon means that your engine oil level is low, not the oil temperature. My brother in law rode the Mavrick in a 2 and half hour traffic and other than the engine heat, he didn't get any warning. Also I had the pulsar 220 (oil cooled) for 8 years and I've ridden it numerous times in heavy Bengaluru traffic and I never had engine overheat issue. Do check your engine oil level and mainly, check for any leaks.
@pranavjs23 күн бұрын
@BISONBHARGAVA no leaks, checked. All of a sudden warning lamp ,and it was gone after taking a rest for 10 mins. Service guys told me it was because of heat

You can definitely switch from 150cc to 440cc because the Mavrick is very easy to ride. The only thing you'll need to get adjusted to is the weight when moving it from stationary. May I know how long you've been riding motorcycles?

The service cost is way too much the engine oil which they are using is very expensive than the competition why is this??
@BISONBHARGAVA25 күн бұрын
Out of the 3,100 Rs total cost of 1st service, 2,700 Rs is engine oil. This is because Hero used fully synthetic oil and the oil capacity of the 440 cc engine is around 2.5 liters. So, naturally the price will be high. Also, the engine oil change interval is 10,000 Kms with just top up at 5,000 Kms. So it looks like the service cost is reasonable. The cost will be less if you opt out of synthetic oil. Also, I have a comment on my video where another Mavrick owner let me know that the second service cost was only 300 rupees. So, overall I think the service cost is fine.

Yes it is, its a long stroke 440 cc engine similar to Royal Enfield 350 but with more cc. This bike was made of low end torque for relaxed riding but it can also go fast if you push. This would be ideal for highway rides, touring and commuting but if you are planning to race on it buy something else.

Hey man! Thanks for sharing your experience 👍🏼 and I agree with you. People are unfairly disliking the Mavrick juts based off of looks and equipment. If they'd take a test ride, I'm sure their opinion will change just as it did for me. I was genuinely surprised at how well the bike was put together. I think ownership experience shared from more riders should help in improving its perception among the public. Hopefully the 2025 model with its USD forks and TFT display should add a bit for premium feel to the bike (not that it needs it when it comes to actual performance).

Hero made a practical motorcycle but people want fancy stuffs like Upside down suspension and all!! The design could have been better though.
@BISONBHARGAVAАй бұрын
I think it was because of the pricing that people expected USD forks considering that Bajaj has given USD for NS400 at around 2 Lakhs. But, in the real world, the difference in performance isn't that noticeable between conventional and USD forks as I realised from my rides. In fact USD forks can shift the centre of gravity higher since the fork oil will be at the top of the suspension. A well setup suspension like on the Mavrick is better than just fancy equipment. USD will aesthetically make it look better for sure, but for riding, either will do.
