Hey man, what type of grease do you use on the gears? You mention it won't mess up the engine so I'm curious.

Where did you buy the gasket, etc..? Have part numbers? What wrench can I get to take the star nuts off of the shifter assembly? My shifter is rusted BAD so I will do the same as you and install a new shifter.

When you took off the lower piece what gear where you in? Or does it matter?

when you line up the timing marks it will end up in neutral, so it dont matter

Thanks for the video . Question does this keep it from shifting into all gears or just certain ones? Just got a rhino 660 and sometimes when I shift to reverse it doesn't go into it and it makes a grinding noise would replacing these gears help that?

@@BisonWorkshop Thanks i ended up replacing these a while back and it was working great up till a couple days ago and its back to not going into reverse sometimes. Not sure what else causes it not to want to go into reverse.
