My only devils advocate point would be that other coins or tokens will rival or compete with bitcoin for this digital perfection. Adoption and ease of use of bitcoin will be a deciding factor of which coin or token will be the substitute for money debasement and the substitute for what is a a perfect property. Saylor is a genius nonetheless and these 18 friction points of real estate is an invaluable idea.

Michael Saylor is exactly right, this is all about property rights! There has been a war on ownership of property in this country since the modern banking system has came into existence. I used to attend and speak for property rights in the state of Michigan and am aware of the game at the state and federal level. It used to be that when you bought property you held deed/title, now that is not the case. You may own the house with a clean title, but the land is always taxed at the state level and you are liable for those real estate taxes as long as you own the home and are on that title. Now you really never hold the title, that title is held at the state/county levels... So the real question is if you don't hold custody of your title and the state holds custody of that title, do you really own anything? The land or the home? I would suggest you don't! Why? just quit paying your property taxes for several years and try to live in that home! Michael Saylor is exactly right when he says, "they can take away everything you "QUOTE UNQUOTE OWN" in 36 months time frame". Because BTC is property that can be held in self custody w private keys only you control... it is the ultimate form of true ownership... So this is the modern day revolution against the bank and political oligarchs... SPREAD THE MESSAGE AND TAKE A SIDE!!! HOPEFULLY PEOPLE WHO LOVE FREEDOM AND LIBERTY WILL CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIDE

Love this, Saylor is great and so much smarter than most. I do have to clarify one thing though, residential real estate commissions aren't 6% coming and going. They are 6% assigned to the seller only. That 6% is then shared between the seller's agent and the buyer's agent. Still a burden nonetheless.

I really love these discussions. It at the end of the day it comes back to preservation and profit. BTC has all of these benefits but it is not worth jack if it goes to near zero. It can be perfect but you can be perfectly broke too. Meaning, with out Network Effect the exercise is just theoretically interesting.

Engineers and the ultra wealthy break value down into pieces. This is similar to how a microscope breaks down organisms or ultra lighting to see beyond regular viewing. The only people that have access to a hotel are the ones that are or will be in the vicinity of it. Bitcoin is a closing protocol that anybody anywhere at any minute can have access to.
