i would say no one knows for sure the detriments of bitcoin right now. it has been one of the most amazing currencies to watch in the history of mankind. First of all, This coin is simply not going away anytime soon and the true value of the coin is still yet to be seen which makes it hold an intrinsic value. Traders as my self along side investors have made quite alot from it. In the other hand Alt coins are more of a distraction in the financial market, I wouldn't advise you to go for Alt coins even if they were to cost as low as $1.Take this away,the cryptocurrency market is hot once again. And while it continues to set new records, a host of altcoins will demand its slice of the market. Should you buy into an ICO? Only if you have a massive appetite for risk, zero fear of losing your capital and are willing to take a flying chance on an idea that could flop.Then again,your call.

This is one of the reasons why bitcoins were/are popular in the black market. There was recently a virus attack called Ransomware that held your files for random unless you paid bitcoins to a certain address (I might be wrong about all the details. I'm going off the top of my head). You cannot trace a transaction. Lets say Bob wants to pay Bill with bitcoins. Bob would send bitcoins to an address, lets say address '123xyz'. Bill's wallet has address '123xyz'. However, you cannot tell who owns address 123xyz. If you make a transaction with someone face to face you have a bit of security since you can chase him down if he tries to rip you off. But if you were making an online transaction with someone you don't know then they can easily scam you. Bob sends bitcoins to address 123xyz. We have no idea whose wallet that is since there is no bank or database linking wallet addresses to customers. Anyways, I'm somewhat familiar with cyrptos and my example may be a bit off but I hope it helps shed some light. TLDR. If you send someone bitcoin and they don't pay there isn't much you can do about it. If you know them irl then go punch them in the face. If you don't know them irl then you've been scammed.

Mark jackson then buying and selling of other currencies to change the value of your own isn't manipulation, nor is loaning more from the FedRes as those are also free market practices... it's all the same and in the end without hard currency you can't get into bitcoin. The value of a bitcoin is still based on the value of the currencies used to purchase them and the equipment to mine them. It's seems to be a new way to make the masses feel we aren't getting screwed.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are already doing this. I saw a video where someone overlapped the trading trends of different currencies and their peaks/troughs pretty much lined up. I've seen the same pattern in some stocks as well. They line up minute for minute. This suggests some computerized trading is going on. They've also have to have some deep wallets to be making an impact on the charts. Might not be government but some people with a lot of money are definitely trading cryptos.

They already started (to attempt?)doing this manipulation in the US when they opened up Futures trading in the CBOE and CME. The BTC price was at a max and DA boys tanked it down hard the first day it traded in the CBOE. Hello, with the look of things, what i can actually say is why don't you invest in a mining company that mines crypto currencies. that's how i mine and invest, all i do is to fund my wallet after that i instruct the company to do whatever i want either by reinvesting or mining, that will also be handled by them and at it due time (within a month) i wait and cash out which will be sent directly to my wallet or local bank account. and i have all these done effortlessly, you can also go about yours the same way.
