hey griffin why do u use newton vs wealthsimple? idk about ur other viewers but im also getting a bit more interested in crypto so i wanna stay all in one place so wealthsimple made sense to me

There isn't anything wrong with Wealthsimple Crypto, and I agree that having things all in one place is practical. Based on my assessment, Newton just offered among the lowest fees, along with the fact that you used to not be able to withdraw coin (which has since changed). So I've just continued using Newton

A few people here in Alberta have been trying to buy bitcoin for the last three months with no luck we are blocked by our banks, mine being C.I.B.C. from depositing money into wallets like Newton with "Too risky for our customers" errors. I tried emailing the money but got blocked with "suspicious transaction". Credit cards do not work (no surprise as I heard none will in Canada). My question is; Are there any other avenues I did not think of other than driving into the U.S. and handing a stranger my money? Is there a video that can explain how to circumvent these blocks? Can you make one?

Hi Claude, your comment for flagged for some reason so I only just saw it, but I'd say you could use a brokerage such as KuCoin to wire USD to it. It's offshore and should have less regulation. Hope that works
