Seems everyone forgets how these cycles work and in my honest opinion, it's the only tried and trued long-term technical analysis that's proven itself time and time again and if you're not using it and your investment strategy, unless you're a hardcore long-termer then you're probably losing a lot of money

Bs. I always find it funny how people who live abroad want to evaluate things. Yes, the German economy is in a recession, and yes, the DAX has continued to rise. But that was simply because the 30 largest German companies now generate most of their sales/profits abroad. The profits of these companies have increased, even though the German economy is crashing at the same time. The DAX is not representative of the state of the German economy.

I think your third option for a Q4 rally is looking most likely, with the economy rolling over slowly. Influx of QE liquidity helping boost that. Unemployment heading up gradually, US2YR and 10YR beginning their declines. DXY rolling over. Small businesses struggling. Indices in Japan (probably one more bounce to come), Germany, Australia, India, Canada having topping signals. Usually towards a recession smaller markets roll over first, following by the US at the final strong man. All the hallmarks are out there of a major recession, with the only hope is if debasement of the US dollar can pull us out. I think if crypto has a chance it need to go in the next 3-4 months.

18:55 how would a recession with a normal BTC cycle look like? The only way I could imagine is similar to the Corona crash that every country just prints so much money basically eliminating all losses in a few months.

I shouldn't say that, but this time everything is different. BTC has risen in a permanent bull market. Interest rates were low, there were no wars, sanctions, or a looming trade war. Apart from the Corona flash crash, BTC has not yet experienced a "US recession". And certainly not a financial crisis. Everything points to a US recession. From the oil price to the unemployment rate, the yield curve, the Shiller P/E ratio, the slowing GDP growth, the decline in the PMI and EMI. I think BTC will be hit hard in a real recession. I even think that the cycle will not end like the others. The S&P500 is in for a 50-60% correction. That doesn't bode well for BTC. The FED is waiting for the recession to lower interest rates. Low interest rates would be good for BTC, but not because of a recession. Then people run out of money, there is deflation...and even gold corrects in such phases.
