Hope that means you didn't sell at 40 and just continued to buy more, perhaps up to the 60-75k trading range we were in for months. It is Bitcoin after all, if this is long term money not short term money, just buy and hold, ALMOST irrespective of price. You've got MAYBE a few months within the cycle (time at the ultra top/ultra bottom) where it might be obvious to buy or sell (or not buy or not sell) for a while, but that's it. I'd rather be holding Bitcoin than not if we're going to enter a huge macro long-cycle/fundamental/global recession. Maybe not ALL Bitcoin of course, but maybe half BTC. It's inevitable, at some point it de-correlates and is the flight to safety or a massive global govt op/plan and it just goes up and up and up. They want to shake you out, especially at a time when people are struggling and have no extra money to invest during a major recession. Jason's predictions, though I respect his view, do not look at the world and Bitcoin this way. It's very tied to a particular kind of cycle theory along with the idea that things will generally repeat/rhyme with the past and the system will continue on as it has. But I think it's quite rational to expect at some point (and the next major collapse is a prime candidate for when) the global economic system is completely turned on it's head, a reset like we've never seen, and trust me no government is looking out for YOUR personal financial freedom! They'll want to bribe you or force you into their new digital fiat paradigm out of desperation. Nothing is certain in life but one of the only possible safety rafts in a future cataclysmic scenario is Bitcoin (along with arguments for gold/silver, ammo, food, guns, land etc)... But you should be familiar with the potential advantages BTC has over those things and weight your long term net worth/investments accordingly to the % chance you see it being the big winner. To me, that's a 25-50% allocation of ones entire net worth, under any and all economic circumstances. Michael saylor says he will be "buying the tops" for years to come for a reason, and so far that's been true. If you believe in BTC, 100k, 250k, doesn't matter, that will all seem cheap in the future. It's less that Bitcoin will go up in real terms (though it will due to adoption) and more that, recession or not, the dollar will continue to FALL, and if nations or companies or pensions or sovereign wealth/rich people etc. are buying and holding BTC, any dips will be temporary, and it will de-correlate with the stock market and prove it's narrative about store of value.

What world are you people living in? We are on the precipice of a new level of adoption. Odd that blackrock,Bernstein VanEck and every conscious person with pulse knows we are heading for 180K minimum in 2025.
