Update on Ace - I have gotten him involved in playing some of the games kzbin.infoUgkx1_veP7CApJK_GWy_TczaMciuG64PqJeU and I can see a difference in his confidence already! My other dog played along and he became intrigued - now its a daily part of our routine - about 3 times a day we do the shell game and the muffin tin game. I am so grateful for coming upon your training techniques!

This is why I love my dogs they're not trained for protection but im lucky enough to not have to have them trained because the bond between my old man who I sadly lost and this little 19 moth old are so strong they'll do anything to keep me, my home and car safe. At the same time they're also the sweetest most stable dogs, I knew I had something real special with Harley. the first week of him being home from the shelter I brought to visit my husband's sisters work theres a homeless shelter across the street, mind you hes met every kind of person there is but these two men he just didnt like and I fur on end and he was huffing, then the barking and the closer they got the worse he became, then the growling. They wanted to pet him to which I replied yeah sure if you wanna get bit then go a head and be my guest but I warned you because he just dont like you. second was an addict walked by my car I dont if she didnt see me or what but he saw her before she did and again fur on end, growling, barking, this time he was shaking and biting the glass. She didnt hang around long after. For those of you who say hes dangerous, hes not cause almost immediately after he was back to his loving goof ball self, not to mention the second time he was playing with a four year old like what happened two minutes before never even happened. Mom asked how can a dog like him be so good with kids and people after what he did and the answer is simple his instincts and bond, he knows you and you kid aren't a danger to me so hes fine, then her kid started playing with his ears cheeks, mouth nose I'm mean you name it and he loved every minute. The same woman showed up again and he immediately put himself between all of us and was just waiting and ready. funny tho to think a dog who's still a puppy would do that with someone he just met that's when I knew I had something real special, then he goes back to playing with her kid. The mom asked me what type he was and when i said hes a pitbull/boxer/husky mix her face turned whiter than a sheet and she couldnt believe it. I said dont believe the media they'll lie because I've been around bully breeds my entire life and this is the closest you'll get to seeing how much potential they hold cause hes not fully trained on commands and I've had him for two months but that gentleness and sweet nature that is natural I never did anything to get him to have that. Now her family has a pitbull and her husband, her and their kid couldn't be happier because he had pits all his life and it took mine and her kid to convince her to get one. Now harley also has a friend which is great and I couldnt be happier for them cause they've got the best breed of dog.

Your right about a sweatshirt possibly saving someone from a pitbull attack.My ex had one sicked on him that was just stuck in a room basically and made to be mean..Well the dog went for him missed cuz he jumped back then he wrapped his sweatshirt on his arm and was lucky enough to get away after having to wrestle the dog in the hallway.
