The white peace event for China needs to made into a decision and given to the PRC and China (or if one of warlords becomes national China then they also should get it). The event is buggy and most of time fails to fire. Set the decision so that Japan is not in any core state of China and that the PRC or China has control over Korea, you can activate the white peace. Make things a helluva lot easier and less buggy.

Agreed. I love playing Asia but it is buggy. Paradox didn't give much thought about it. I think because the allies always takes out Japan before China kicks them off the continent. One of their oversights.

The Soviet part of the "foreign aid" tree gives you tanks and a "mechanized" division for free. They're really useful for pushing the Japanese when you're out of the mountains

Hey bitt3rsteel, i've noticed that in this game, you only asked communist nations, Italy and Germany for guns. But why dont you ask other nations for guns? (I.e Iran, Iraq, Afghan, Tibet, etc) In my 1936 scenario, if you improve relation with any nations in Middle east, they'll usually send absurd amounts of guns (If World tension is high enough ofc). Is this not working for 1939 scenario?

This is just the actual chinese front. Panic, nobody knows who's in charge, there's one rifle for every 8 guys and they're shouting at anybody who can hear in order to get SOMEBODY to give them a hand.

Promoting and using Zhu De as a field marshal over Mao can be a pretty good move as his logistics abilities help a lot with the supply hell that is China

In fact, the anecdotes of the CCP early days include Zhu De personally carrying buckets of supplies up the mountain alongside his troops using a stick that he slings a bucket over each side of (the situation was pretty crummy for them so people you'd think of as the leaders were often personally very active). His men, fearing he'd hurt himself at such crucial times, hid the stick that he uses only to find he got a new one the very next day with 'Zhu De's stick is not to be taken lightly' etched into it. While sounding a lot like folksy propaganda, the story persisted even when Zhu De fell out of favor and got purged by Mao. There was a short attempt to revise the story into Lin Biao being the one carrying the supplies, to which Zhu De commented "the stick can be loaned out, but it's mine in the end". So imagine Zhu De personally hauling everything to the front lines across mountainous terrain if you ever play PRC again and make use of him. In other shenanigans, Lin Biao once found a captured Japanese officer's uniform suited him, so he wore it and also took the Katana, then had the bright idea to ride out like that. He got shot by people on his own side (he got better), the guy literally hurt himself from being a weeb.

I'm new to the channel, so I don't know if you did this yet, but a cool idea would be to do a disaster save that someone sent in, then you swap to the other side around the end/whenever you feel comfortable. The AI has all of your advanced tech and units, and all you have are the remnants of a broken country.

You know that you can't actually get the weapons if you don't have enough convoys, right? You can still ask and they will say yes, but you just won't get them until you have enough convoys.

From my experience playing PRC, if Japan is already at war with the allies then the white peace event will not trigger.

Any advice for non-historical Communist China? I also made every country liberated. The second you turn off historical focus. The Ai becomes a thousand times smarter... At first i was able to take a huge chunk of land. But then China and all the others in the alliance attacked me. And they were almost a hundred... The second time. I took India and almost encircle China. When Japan decided to ruin everyone's life... The third time. Japan asked me to join them. And i thought. Maybe i can use them, then take over the faction. Sadly, they kind of knew what i was planning. And even though I keep taking larger lands than they do. They keep taking more and more. We almost took over all of Asia. Europe and reaching Africa before 1941... Fourth time. I went with the "Lightning War" Tactics. And by that i mean i took Shaanxi. Xibei San Ma. Sinkiang. In 1 year. But Japan instantly owned part of China. And a part is all they needed before they start ruining the game again... Fifth time. I invited China and Yunan along with China's Puppet. Who are somehow ALWAYS becomes a puppet... And just when i was about to start the war on Sinkiang. China decided to turn them into puppet instantly. Which makes no sense... Sixth time. I went through Mengkuko to not ally with Japan. Also, Qing China. And continued through Korea. Upward to the Far East. And ofc. China joined the allies and attacked me... Seventh time. I joined the Soviets. Only to be betrayed later before I even take China... Eighth time. I decided to get airplanes as fast as possible. Very helpful. But not enough. Because when i'm almost taking over China. Even nukes didn't help Just a bit more and they would surrender but. Somehow the game decided to not make them surrender or lose forcefully... Ninth time. I tried to do the 4th one. And take over all lands fast. But this time with China and the others in the alliance. China did the same as they did the 5th time... Somehow making Sinkiang puppet in an instant. At this rate Japan is having a mental breakdown. And I say that because they have a never-ending civil war. Every time we reach 1937. And i was glad because nobody to bother me anymore. But China have upgraded their AI somehow and became impossible to deal with. From Instantly enslaving all those I justify against. Before I can declare war. To making new allies in the west. And since we are in the same faction. My justification somehow cancels itself... And the worst part is that, even if i kick China from the faction. they would still do all those thinking Plus. Attack Yunnan and after Yunnan sometimes in the middle of the battle. They join the allies and all of them attack me at the same time. So I think i will just go with historical focus. Because at first i wanted them to do somethings differently every time. I didn't think the AI Difficulty will go God Mode... So any Advice will be helpful. Else i just go Historical.
