My father was a Vietnam vet. He was camped with fellow marines in tents one night when one of the soldiers started screaming like he was dying, grabbing his ear. When they started trying to see what was happening to him, they found an asian centipede had crawled halfway into his ear and was biting the INSIDE OF HIS HEAD. They had to pour antiseptic alcohol into his ear to kill the thing, which I'm sure felt amazing as well. I have heard some crazy jungle stories, but that one takes the cake.

Bro when Mark started doing solo videos i was pushed back a bit from the channel because he was way more camera shy and looked less confident than Coyote, and then Coyote started slowing down on the bite/sting videos (and with good reason I dont blame him) so Marks solos were mostly what the channel became. But as time went, Mark built character and started on taking on more and more potent stings/bites, even more so than Coyote, and for that, I respect the hell out of him. I was on a class trip to Greece back when I was 18. We slept in tents and had our stuff in backpacks. One morning we were about to leave for a daytrip and I was picking up my backpack and tried to swing it on my shoulder, and all over sudden, I saw a 10-15cm long creature falling to the ground and running away. After some research back at home (there was no mobile internet back then) I discovered that it was a scolopendra cingulata, the biggest species of scolopendras in Europe. Scolopendras aren’t very popular in Europe, most people, at least in my country, do not even know, that such big things exist. I didn’t know either back then. But I still get goosebumps when I think about this situation. Especially since I learned about their power here on KZbin.
