I've had needles stuck in me my whole life because I had epilepsy and was a very sick kid, always had some kind of infection or illness. With one medicine I had to get my blood drawn once a week to make sure things where working properly. Spiders and such don't scare me either unless it's on me, then I have a problem

It's fun watching everyone else squirm lol I had my blood drawn when I was 13 I simply stared at the needle as it went in and continued to stare until they were done. The funny part is that actually turned it around on the doctor by freaking them out with my constant staring. Edit: there is one problem though, I become extremely squeamish if it's done on the inside of my elbow which annoyingly is a common place to put an IV but anywhere else is fine

That yellow top tube they used contains separator gel and probably some kind of anticoagulant already. Another factor that they could have considered is the tube inversions after the introduction of the venom. It should have also been uniform across all the test tubes.
