can we talk about how absolutely on point this depiction of dysphoria is, especially if the artist’s never actually experienced it?? the depiction of being laid out on a plate gives me chills with how accurate it feels. i genuinely had to pause the video the first time I watched this at the part where there’s a person standing behind ryeon, messing with his hair, because that’s it, that’s exactly the weird spidery get-out-of-this-skin kind of feeling. major props here, you clearly researched this really well and im glad to see someone put so much care and thought into writing trans characters

as a trans person, i can definitely say i relate to this quite a bit. its not exactly how i would portray my own dysphoria, but everyone is different, and if you're trying to portray it as someone who doesn't experience it, showing the general emotions alot of trans people feel (not all, dysphoria is a quite varied thing, and some trans people dont even have dysphoria) but definitely the fear of a lack of acceptance and pressure to go on presenting as a gender you arent is something ik alot of us deal with. sorry if this is badly worded, im terrible at talking, i just wanted to let you know that i think this is done very well, and it means alot that you actually put in the research to portray it properly to the best of your ability :DD

you managed to portray gender Dysphoria very accurately! I'm not a trans guy (i'm an AFAB Non-binary person) but everytime I watch this I go "this sucks, Dude same." I wish more people were more accepting and understanding of us trans folks and how their comments hurt us more than they intend. when this first came out i always found myself rewatching this multiple times. i felt like this is relatable but then, i'd always tell myself that i was wrong and that i was just wanted attention or i was a tomboy. i soon came to terms that i was trans. and i just wanted to say thank you for making this. it was the first thing that made me think that there were other people who were like me and that i wasn't alone. thank you so much. :]

As a ftm trans person myself, I really relate to Ryeon here. Especially with the mom part. Since I struggled so hard to convince my mom to cut my hair, I had long, curly hair but since my Mom and Dad don't support trans people, I was screwed. They wanted me to dress girly, and it was horrible, I vented to my friend so heavily about Gender Dysphoria. My Mom always saying "you are a girl so you have to have long hair" and it messed me up so bad. I them had a friend secretly but a binder and my Mom doesn't know what it is, doesn't really question it. But the thing causing me Dysphoria was my long hair. But now, after a year of internal pain, I somehow convinced my Mom to get short hair. I relate so much with Ryeon, Raja you did a perfect job portraying how gender dysphoria feels like with this animatic. As someone who doesn't experience it, you portrayed it better than I probably could and that is saying a lot. I live for this animatic
