We are just now entering this at 9yrs old, as he is crawling. He has cdls but with multiple yearly surgeries, we regress each time, sadly putting us behind. I have to remember to live like nobody’s looking, and take our time at my son’s pace.

I love that, “…It’s one of Freya’s super powers.” She has keen eyesight, for sure. Jessie is such a good helper. What a great invention, and no hole drilling was involved. The fact that the locks are hidden, allows the cupboards to have a nice aesthetic. A bit like magic how the magnet unlocks the lock.

Freya's smile is so precious! And Jesse is such a great helper!! My 9 yr old grandson has been playing and building with Legos for years. Before Christmas he decided they go in his ears!! After 2 ER visits, the Legos have all been packed away for now! He also just started to stuff everything in the toilet to watch it overflow!! We don't know where this behavior came from! And like Freya, he's always in the cabinets. They do keep us on our toes!!! Lol❤

My son's ex is going through the same with my 9 yr old grandson. He just recently started sticking Legos in his ears and nose. He's been building with them for years but all of a sudden, in his ears! He's also stuffing things in the toilet and over flowing it! None of this was a problem when he was younger. Can't take our eyes off him! Lol ❤

Yes! The very end cabinet we leave open. It has all the cookie sheets and things like that. She loves to pull them out. We put a lock on it but didn’t lock it. One of the reasons I liked these locks.

I remember child proofing my kitchen with my 2 child. My first child did not NEED IT she only liked her toys. So, it was a shock to have to do it with my son. Marci you really do so much with ur children which is what it is all about. My mom had 10 kids. 1 was severly ill with juvenile diabetes which we found out when she was 18 months. She was #8. Than my mom had twin boys. My sister was constantly being rushed to the ER or in the hospital for half her young life. Watching you makes me think of my mom who has passed. Its hard because you have other children and they also have needs n as they are growing it gets harder. Like my mom you do an awesome job. Freya has taught you so much. How you use to want everything to be a certain way..your way..what made you feel better inside. All those things today you realize because of Freya that its not that big of a deal. Did you ever think before Freya that you wld become the person u are. The things that you wld kinda get annoyed at are the very things that you welcome with Freya. Its amazing how much little adorable Freya is teaching not just you and your family but also so many others. Thank for sharing Freya and your family with all of us on you tube. Freya may be a little behind in some things but the point is not when she does it but that she accomplishes that milestone. So if she is 4 and u are baby proofing..i wld be so delighted she accomplished it all. With Freya im sure u had a wake up call. Freya taught you not to take anything our children do for granted but to appreciate everything they do no matter how small. Its all about moving forward. It does not matter how big the steps...Freya goes at her own pace as she shld. U can see by ur interactions with Freya that she understands. You can see Freya wants to learn. Freya is far from lazy.. Freya wants to keep moving. How has school helped Freya? Have u spoken about her changes her milestones since ur decision to have Freya go to school. I think that wld be so helpful to other parents who are in a similar situation and are scared to death to seperate from their child which is so understandable. I feel for Stephanie with Sebastián. Hopefully you guys support each other. You both have much in common as far as having a child with cdls. Ive learned so much about cdls..something i never heard of before i saw your channel and Stephanie's channel. I admire both of you. Marci i hope you know just how awesome you are. You give ur all to everyone u love which is beautiful but draining. Please dont forget to take care of urself. I hope that you and ur hubby put aside time for each other. Every relationship needs stimulation..needs attention for it to continue to grow in the same direction. Many times that gets lost because mom and dad are so busy taking care of their family. It starts with mom and dad. Mom and dad has to know and feel supported by each other. Mom and dad have needs too and that is not a selfish thing to say. Its essential.
