BITTERSWEET FATHERS DAY. How did our family honor my husband on our first Father's Day without him.

On April 8, 2024 my husband of 56 years passed away. This was the first time since my children were born that he was not here. It was a sad day for me that I didn't think I would get through but with the support of my family I was able to.
We had a small celebration and my two grandsons did something special to honor their grandpa.
They say when you lose someone the "firsts" are the hardest. That is so true and the only ones that can truly understand it are the ones that have gone through it themselves.
Happy Father's Day to all the Dads here or in heaven.
