An incident i want to share in short : There is a kathawachak in punjab called Bhai ranjit singh ji dhandrianwale ( dont misunderstand it with bhindranwale ) he was attacked by some extremists groups who were against his ideology , his car was shot , tyres were popped but his car drove on rims ( no tyres ) for some distance until he was out of danger and he was saved guess what ? No offence to any car brand but i think the reason for using land cruiser over land rover is the reliability factor No doubt both car in armoured or non armoured version is best in their segment in comfort, off road capability and built quality but the reliability factor is a key component to protecting vvip , u don't want ur car to malfunction in the middle of an attack so the main reason for choosing a reliable car like land cruiser is peace of mind, u don't have to worry about car and focus on getting ur vvip to a safe place , if the range rover had a reliable engine and electronic then the vvip have chosen the range rover or land rover instead of other car and land rover has a history of engine and electronic malfunction problem
