Use the FX layers and splits build into bigwig!

I mentioned that in the video and why I didn’t want to^^

@@Alckemy but wont that help with the mixing issues you have? you can then split mono - left - right and side, seems you are trying to get that effect using the EQ?

@@4chan-Crypto using a mid side means that all that reverb I had on the sound would only translate to a stereo system. I want the entire sound to be affected and then look at subtly introducing stereo enhancing if I would want to. This particular sound is not a cause for whatever mixing issues I have because it’s in the sound design stage- there’s nothing to mix this against and is typically treated as a lead. I’m not worried about bass mono at this point in time

@@Alckemy Exactly, that’s what I was hinting at, but Won’t frequency clashes make it harder to mix if you don’t have the basics down when flattening the sound? I’ve never seen anyone do it this way and end up with something usable without spending hours fixing it in post, do you have a video of the mixing stage using the samples, i think that would be a good watch! love the Creativity by the way!

@@4chan-Crypto the basics come later when you’re trying to apply the sound in context. I explain why I put reverb over the whole sound and how the distortion eats it in the video

yo this is sick, would you ever do the same for ableton?
@Alckemy6 ай бұрын
Already have. It’s the exact same thing, just use amp, saturator with soft clip and glue compressor

Oh hell yeah, haven't even watched yet and I know this is gonna be great 😂

By the way, what is the default modulator that seems to be on most of your devices? Is it Classic LFO being constantly altered by the random below it?
