So how do you take the time to paint, you have to mix small batches of paint every 5-10 minutes? Is there another paint for additive to extend working time?

Adding thinner like OSS will give you additional time, but you are better off working one color at a time so the colors don't run together. I will be posting a more in-depth painting video soon.

From where I come from, no silicone pigments are available. Can I use oil paint as a substitute?

Test first. Some paint will inhibit platinum silicone.
