I’ve been watching this channel for around a year or two, I will say this… it BAFFLES me how you guys aren’t bigger.. consistently putting out chill and informative content. Incredibly underrated. One of the best mtg content out there. You guys deserve MUCH higher exposure.

It warms my heart to hear that, thank you so much 🧡 I guess Duel Commander is yet a rather small format with its centre in France, but I'm optimistic that we'll get to a state at which people are as familiar with the format as with Canadian Highlander. And we're actually contributing to that with our content, at least that's our hope

@@bitzelbergyou guys are! I had no idea about it before I saw your videos! Just a thought but what about online tournaments? Webcam games! Idk if that’s been down but livestreams might help the reach? Just throwing out ideas. Again, Love the content gentlemen!

If you were looking for me pronouncing "Acererak" wrong a trazillion times, while debating about MH3 cards, you're at the right place!

I am not sure why Acererak went for the Necropotence on G3. 🤔

Me neither, if they watch this video, I'd love to hear their opinion on that!

Hey, Acererak player here ! My mindset about game 3 was that it would be far more serious than the previous ones since they both were mana screw for one of the players. Necropotence was the way to go, and the Acererak cast one turn ago was a bait for Necro to resolve. With Demonic I would have looked for a Grief or Unmask to make sure nothing wrong happened afterwards, but they had Mana Tithe. So I was going blind, and looking back that's probably where I made the mistake of overusing the Necropotence. It's the hardest card to play in the deck and this was a time where I wouldn't say I used it wrong since I got what I was looking for, but I overpaid it (though it was a long time ago and I don't remember where each card was as I drew them). To my mind at the time, I was like "using Necropotence aggressively is how the card is meant to be used" and "this has to be a race in any way". Those mindsets came from the stress of the tournament I guess 😆 Anyway, the gameplan worked, and if I got to take that last turn I would have won, as I showed in the end. But I was punished by the very nasty monarch topdeck of Lightning Helix 😭. What I'm saying is if you questioned the plan of playing the Necropotence, this way the only good gameplan I had, so I had to rely on the card. But if you were questioning about how much life I paid, you were most certainly right 🫠 Also thanks for having this match recorded, was really important to me to look back for this one especially the game 3 💜

@@kalitaspkmtg788 cheers! I think it was more related to why you overpaid the Necropotence. There's no question PLAYING the card is correct, as I've described in the cast, it's a great way to win you the game.I would've taken it a bit more conservative, but it's always easy to evaluate something afterwards ;)
