Thank goodness ! A beautiful watch that checks all the boxes. That movement is gorgeous ! I enjoy the complete sweep of the center seconds hand , it's nice to see something moving to represent the passage of time .

Im still rooting for these guys…design? I genuinely think it’s good , especially today when we knee-jerk into instant love for 1950’s design (why wouldn’t we ? We already know we love it : same reason Hollywood does remakes!) that we have a design that is a little divisive:yes, it does have an extraordinary movement, and its design language does nod to 1950’s cocktail hour, but i see a tiny tiny bit of almost Stanley Kubrick elegance (which is at odds with the logo-type, which sails dangerously close to to a 1980’s retail/design echo)….i don’t know if this is all emperors new clothes because we all love JCB so much, but he is making choices, he is sailing a catamaran, leaning-out when he has to, but there IS something there, something we won’t appreciate for 50 years and that IS design, not recall, so I gotta love him for it!

I wanted this piece as soon as I saw it last week. However, it is not assessable for myself and the masses as i think reading it costs CHF 75,000. Its another watch where I just have to admire and appreciate it without owning it.

La storia ricorda come ci siano state persone di talento venute fuori dal nulla, e persone figlie di talento incapaci di fare altrettanto. Questo ragazzo non è uscito dal nulla, perciò gli auguro di non essere uno che prova a seguire il talento di sangue senza riuscirci. Certo che a questi prezzi, non so se si tratta di sicurezza nelle capacità oppure semplice ingiustificata arroganza. Senza contare come non consideri una sfida perfezionare la cronometria.... Certo che vedere la sfera minuti arretrare di un paio una volta premuta la corona per far ripartire il movimento conferma che della precisione non gliene importi proprio nulla, forse l'importante è giusto trovare qualcuno che paga decine di migliaia di euro per questo oggetto 😂😂😂
